The professional traders are usually at a more advantage in making profit from their trade  compare to newbies. A newbie is not supposed to trade when they are not so confident yet in their decision making towards trading because while trading, you must be confident enough to make decisions for any position you want to enter. Professional traders knows when to risk high and when to risk low and there are some traders that only enters a position when the chance is high.

So, can we say that trading is for the short term and scalps, whereas investing - usually goes into the long term? How would you differ them?

I think that you already answered your own question. Trading is an active way to make money while investing usually means they are passive and for the long-term. In many cases, traders want to make big money so they can invest for the long-term and diversify their portfolio. Trading can be riskier than investing and that is why traders should be investing time to learn the basics of the market and advanced his skills in the process. Now, you can choose both as they are open to anyone who is willing to learn and lose money for his education. I still prefer investing though if I have the money since I hate risks and I am not emotionally stable which can be an enemy in trading. This is the reason why many people prefer to just HODL into the long-term and just shut off the news.

Sounds reasonable enough.
Emotions are the main enemies while trading, I do agree. Self-discipline is essential in such activity.
Than you for making it clear! Investing is stability, while trading is the potential in hand.

Psychology is what plays and I guess that's the major difference between the two set of traders. A newbie trader when in a trade might get scared if the market goes against him in a short term, that because his own confluence might not be as strong as that of the professional trader, so he rushes and sells off. At this time, even the Professional trader must have seen a resin for the sudden reverse of the market and watching carefully to buy even more at that point. This is why most newbie traders doesn't make it big on the long term. They lack patients and get scared .

Self-discipline is important too, you are right.
You should set up targets for yourself, otherwise, you will end up losing your funds or not getting a profit from them.

That's more about being a pro investor. We're chill and we buy on discounted days and we don't panic. But at the beginning, we're also noobs and we don't know what to do. With experience and the bad moments that we had with this market, that had made us a better trader and as well as investor. I've also learned to be a long term investor because the return that it gives is much better and I don't have to hassle against the market being a trader.

Noob and professional traders are clearly different, their way of thinking, their mentality, how to determine positions and so on. But over time, those who are beginners and want to learn seriously will become professional traders who are able to gain profits in crypto trading and can even beat those who have been here for a long time.

To be successful in crypto trading, one must have a deep knowledge of market movements, because trading is a challenging area where even the biggest professional traders lose their money. So think about how a new trader can profit in that place? Surely a new trader will lose money no matter how much money he trades there.

So a beginner must first gain knowledge about market movements, learn to adopt different strategies and have the right mindset, and continuously improve his skills. In this way, he will surely become a successful trader at some point.

Your observation by what you have highlighted here are true, we cannot expect the way a newbie will behave while trading in crypto to be the same way a professional crypto trader will do, but this never also justify for the use of any strategy by the pro and still never missed it at some point, trading is unpredictable as we know, by the time you will think of knowing it all, then you begin to discover that maybe you're just starting on it.

In my opinion, this comparison is not fair, it is like comparing a first-year student to a university student, of course there is no comparison, even professionals were noobs at the beginning and then progressed little by little through gaining experience and knowledge.

It is not a shame to be a noob, but the shame is to remain as you are without taking a step forward and learning something new every time, so losing is not important at the beginning, but what is important is to learn from the loss and make it a lesson for you throughout your life.

Totally right.
It's essential to learn from the mistakes made, especially to learn from the mistakes made by others already.
As I once heard: "It's not a shame not to know something, it's a shame not wanting to know that something".

If we compare the two, professionals will definitely win because professional traders are experienced in dealing with market situations and have been in the crypto world for a long time and have a lot of knowledge about crypto, unlike beginners who have little knowledge of the market and even about crypto, they don't really understand when to sell and buy.

The striking difference between a pro and a beginner is a natural thing in my opinion, but a diligent beginner will not have to go through the difficult times of being a newbie for long, he will slowly become a professional if he continues to try and learn in trading.

Someone who is already a professional will also definitely go through times where they learn and are called beginners, it is impossible for them to immediately become professionals without going through such a process.

Beginners just need to be patient and keep learning to make them even better. Patience is one of the keys that they must have, because if they don't have enough patience then I'm sure they will leave this in a short time because they don't want to go through this difficult process.

Yeah, experience wins the luck, in the sphere where analysis can help you with the odds - definitely.
Two traders can get profit from their positions, but only an experienced one won't use it to push his luck a little bit more, diversifying risks and going forward with a cool head.
That's my view on it.
Well yeah as newbie or noob traders trade with emotions while professionals get the best out of the market and don't trust in luck but lay effective strategy to atleast make gains even in a tight movement of the market because they are skilled and has enough knowledge about what they are doing.

Pro:
• Buys low & hold
Not necessarily compulsory to hold. A pro can buy low and sell high as well.

• Focuses on long-term gains
Not all pros focus on long term gains and not all that focus on long term gain are pros. A pro day trader can buy now and sell in few minutes time and be in massive profits.
