When I go with my friend to watch soccer games, and we place a bet on who will pay the drinks. We get so excited and cheer for our favorite teams. We might even shout things like, "Go Mbappé, go brother...hhh!"
Of course, I’m not saying you should bet on every game before watching it... I'm just saying that human psychology is difficult to understand. Sometimes a 1$ bet or a drink can change the whole atmosphere...(as long as it's for entertainment and done responsibly)

Yes, bet does make game exciting, I make bets on cricket matches, and difference in emotions I find myself in when having a bet on and when not, is obvious.

Yeah for sure a friendly bet adds another level to the fun of watching a match as long as the amount doesn't hurt someone's pocket. This is a common occurrence among peers with similar interest/s. The fun and excitement turns into something more serious if more money is involved

Of course, it will make watching the game more exciting as you have a side bet, and you are going to cheer for your team, same as your friend. So there is this competitive fire between you two. But at the end of the day, it's just sports, and whoever losses the game will just treat it like that and nothing personal and you can go on and still be friends after it.

And I think this is a common occurrence when you go and watch with your friends in live games. Your bet, your drink and have some fun during that game. Of course, there will be some teasing on both parties, but you shouldn't look at it as personal attack.

All of the above, I find it pleasant watching match either i bet on it or watching with friends who is there to gist with me and maybe we might decides to bet on each of the clubs, like he bets on Chelsea while I bet on Man.U, with the intension that if many lose the game he would pay for the drink and if the opposite happened then I would have to pay for the drink as well without falling. Now this would now make me to get prepared maybe to have enough funds because we might consumed lots of things the would be even worth betting with just 1$.

This sounds good and might change the gaming atmosphere but I do not bet with a friend before a game. This is because I and my friends always place bets on bookies before any game, especially on weekends, and our concerns are always focused on the bet. However, during the course of watching a particular match, an argument may arise, and we will be asked to bet so that the winner of the argument receives the money.

This does not happen all the time, but arguments like this are always what prompt betting between myself and a friend, and sometimes it is not even a friend, but another person watching the same game as us. I recall that once, when I lost a bet against a friend, my friend returned my money out of sympathy. Since then, I can not remember the last time I bet against a friend over an argument.

We do that with my friends mostly in boxing matches sometimes we both bet on the same team but what i exciting is that we go for knock-out or a decision. That actually adds up the excitement and fun while watching so I think everyone should atleast try with just extra dollars so if we lose it won't hurt that much.

My heart will race for two things. First, if I bet an amount that is so big that I can't let go, any shoot out or short on target that is play either for or against will make my heart beat because what I will be expecting is for my team to win so I can win my bet and if they don't win before the time end, I will not even enjoy the game because I will be thinking about the money.

Another one is my team is playing, either I bet on them or I don't,I get furious about their game most especially if it's final game that I want them to win badly. Even if the amount is small, such games make my heart skip sometimes and feel too attentive to watching the game.

Without a doubt, the activities surrounding the game can sometimes be more enjoyable than the game itself. Personally, I enjoy going to a viewing center to watch games because you can hear other people's perspectives on the game. In fact, you will get to learn new things and be exposed to statistics you are unfamiliar with.

Also, the banter you receive in a viewing center, as well as the banter you give to others who support a rival team, are all part of the game's life. That is where the fun is, as long as everyone knows when to respect each other and does not say anything that tarnishes another person's reputation.

I choose watching sports with a bet, it adds up spice to the game and you get more excited to see the results unlike when you're not betting.

Sometimes its not even the games but the bets that matter, so for gamblers, betting even a small amount added an element of excitement, Some gamblers cannot go in a day challenging anyone even on simple task or even if the price is a bottle of beer.

A gambler will always be a gambler no matter what.

Yes watching sports you fond of is fun even if you don't bet on it but when you do, it adds extra involvement to the game, that's my experience.

Regarding betting being a problem, I don't think it's so, as long as you gamble responsibly, plus if you have good knowledge of sports you bet on, you'll likely be in profit.

Friendly bets can be very interesting to bet on as long as it is done moderately. Staking less than a dollar can make it fun to engage in but when it becomes out of control like staking a car or other valuable assets it's no longer considered to be fun anymore. Gambling is fun when you can bet with what you can afford to lose so even when you eventually lose it you won't have the feeling of regret. But I enjoy soccer games more without any bets on it, I'm able to focus on every aspect of the game instead of just been concerned about goals, it doesn't put you under duress

anyone with a brother can relate to watching together and betting. yes it makes the watching of sports together more fun.

if you have a brother that could reason out something that will deceive you at some point you will end up arguing the whole night and forget about the bets. i have mine who reasoned the center man(basket ball game)  was injured and so its not a fair fight anymore which he said i can't just take my win. but in the next game  he won, he teaches me to be sport and pay up.

I completely agree with you; as long as it doesn't break the bank, it's still fun. Though it doesn't feel like a loss of money as lengthy as it's with a buddy, betting on who will win the match is thrilling and enjoyable. In addition, the enthusiasm feels unreal, the ties are growing stronger, and the motivation is unstoppable. We play shout a few times, but I always wager an amount that I can afford to lose.
