Winning in Gambling Based on a Mad Person's Prediction
« on: September 25, 2024, 06:52:39 PM »
This may sound funny, but I was surprised to witness it. I had heard that if a mad person makes a prediction, it must come true, but I had always doubted the possibility. I questioned how such people are unaware of what is going on in the football world, and how they will know the match fixtures, let alone predict them and win. However, I have come to believe it is real.

Last week, a friend of mine sent me a game and asked me to bet that the game was given to him by a madman. He said the madman approached him and begged him to buy him food, so he did, and as he was about to leave, the madman gave him three draws to play. He did not play the game because he did not enjoy gambling, but he did send the games to me. Because I dislike the draw option, I did not play the game.

My friend called today to inquire about the status of the games, so I quickly checked them and the three draws came through. I am sad because I did not get to play the game, but it has also made me believe that a mad person can give you games and you can win from it.

What is your opinion about this? Have you had similar experience?

I can not believe this kind of story.

If it is true, why are you sad? What if you bet on the matches in accumulation and lose? Won't you be happy if you did not go for the bet?

A friend of mine did not go for over 10 odd bet last week. He was also complaining that he supposed to have bet the matches. You people do not need to think of gambling like this.

I have not had such an experience, but I will not deny that it is a common belief among the people here. There are numerous stories about a madman giving someone games and making them millionaires. This is always hearsay; I have not seen anyone in particular.

I will always ask if it is just any kind of insane person, or if there is a specific type of insane person who has this power. I will also ask what draws such a mad person to those they give games? Is it due to goodwill or otherwise? This question is based on the fact that I have heard some people claim that a mad person gave them a game but it didn't come through.

I do not believe in such things, and the truth is that as a gambler, you do not have to wait for a madman to give you a game before you can win. Even though gambling is difficult, with proper and thorough research, your winning rate will increase.

... I had heard that if a mad person makes a prediction, it must come true, but I had always doubted the possibility.
This is another superstition that exists in the world of gambling where people believe that people with mental issues are able to predict games. If that were the case, many people would have incarcerated a lot of mental patients right now and turned them into predictors because that would mean they have a use in society and they are invaluable to sports bettors and gamblers.

I simply do not believe it.

Before, I normally take mad men predictions of betting games to be a superstitious belief until I saw it happen to people around that I know.

Long ago, I heard of someone telling a story about how he won a reasonable amount from the games a madman gave to him. To clear my conscience and doubts, I had to see it by myself, which I did and I saw how the madman gave out some predictions to some people, and they confessed to winning some and also losing some of the bets given to them by the madman.

Might be a made up story but even if something like that actually happened it's out of luck or coincidence. A lot of people think that superstition actually works with gambling, I am saying this because I have heard a story of a guy that always ask mentally retarded people to predict lottery games for him, he believes that they are the right people that can give him the luck he needs, this is completely outrageous in my opinion and it's not going to work. Gambling Is a game of luck, you can only get lucky or unlucky

there was also a time crazy person asks an octopus in their aquarium to forecast which team will win in a sports match. i'm sure the octopus is just looking for a corner to hide himself from the madman but they took it literally like its choosing a team for them.

whatever you may want to believe is what it is. its better to just analyze the team and predict what could be the outcome and be the madman yourself. you sure can come up with something by yourself.

Nobody can predict currently most times the outcome of a game because gambling is based on luck and not by whoever you are. Luck is by chance and I don't think that a mad man can predict the outcome of a game correctly often. I don't want to believe it is possible because it cannot be possible.

I think no one else in the world has the ability to know the future except God.  And in this case what you are talking about is completely superstition that is mostly prevalent in underdeveloped societies. I consider these things utter nonsense and will never believe them. Maybe coincidentally two times the predictions of such people are correct but if anyone gambles on it then I would say he is making a big mistake.  Gambling is completely dependent on luck and it is natural that there will be one type of result here at a time.  So betting based on Mad Men's predictions would be foolish.

Nah, never had one and probably never will. Betting on a madman's prediction isn't something a normal bettor would do. My guess is that anyone who does just do it out of fun. I doubt they will do something like that on a consistent basis.

lol man!  You are trying to justify a coincidental event that I find extremely ridiculous.  Although I am familiar with these things because there are many such cases in my local region as many people blindly believe that by taking blessings from such madmen, those who are suffering from infertility will have children.
So I don't believe on these rubbish things and I would also like to suggest you don't make the next bet kind of prediction I am sure that the higher possibility of your big loss. And also like to suggest you never makes the coincident event to the reality.

Nope, I don't trust such type of things and I believe that Mad people can't predict the future no matter what. I know it's quite hard for some people to believe that but if the story was true then that was somehow a coincidence and nothing else or the person who told your friend about those number might be an insider or have heard from an insider. No one can see what future holds and especially when it comes to gambling.

I don't have any experience about a madman telling me what to bet. But in this case, it could have been coincidence and he could have been lucky with his predictions as we all know that it's based on pure luck.

The madman could have follow the sports though, that's why is could have been very confident when he shares what to bet to your friend. So of course, it's going to be a hit or miss, maybe you can meet some random person in the streets as well that can give you a winning ticket, in my opinion.

This is real, and it happens on occasion and for specific reasons. Whether we accept it or not, some incidents occur that are beyond human comprehension, which is why most people find it difficult to believe. I believe this is analogous to purchasing a used cloth and then discovering dollars inside. We can call it coincidence or luck, but it still happened.

Re: Winning in Gambling Based on a Mad Person's Prediction
« Reply #14 on: September 26, 2024, 08:05:08 PM »

Because I dislike the draw option, I did not play the game.

but it doesn't mean a gambler deliberately going to dollar store finding something to buy like the used clothes hoping to find something more valuable inside in it.

there is a superstition in this, which OP may be thinking some divine intervention that will make him win  large sum due to the mad man's prediction. i wouldn't entrust my next bet to someone how hardly know what they are saying let alone a sport the mad man hasn't understood.
