I have set some percentage of my Bitcoin for short term taking profits at $70k first, and hope after that there will be a correction, so I can buy again when the price is correcting. It's just that I've set it for several days, it hasn't broken through that number. hahaha
It seems like I have to be a little more patient and find another plan to take profits from the others.

But this week the market is really good, the Long position is very right, oh, if I want to accumulate again, it seems like I have to wait for the market to drop for a while. Unless it is with a DCA system that is already organized and regular.
In fact, if you do not have good analysis skills, such as technical analysis or fundamental analysis knowledge, it is very difficult to gain profit by short-term trading. So I always try to make long-term investments. And I think the bullish market is the riskiest time to make a big investment. And that's why I don't go to any investment at this time and for risk management I follow Dollar Cost Averaging scheme which makes me less disappointed.

If the budget allows it - you can buy in lumps, however, I do agree that DCA is just more stable in terms of the salary you've got, if it's a stable one as well.
Thus, it all clicks on the idea of what you would like to achieve and how much time you've got.

Buying in lumps is best in my opinion, just like when you buy at $15,500 which is the lowest low for this cycle. However, this is only applicable for those who have a lot of money, let's say a huge whale buying and then just holding it. Or maybe he just forget about it in years and then will just wake up when it's the right time to sell.

We have seen that kind of addresses though sleeping for years and then suddenly we see some movement and then selling for a profit. Probably those are these investors. But for us average joe, it's better to do DCA and work it week after week.

Purchasing in bulk is a powerful tactic when costs are low, particularly when you, the investor, possess vast funds and extended endurance to protect your stock’s value from its installed numerical volatility for daily price shifts. It makes it possible for us to exploit every opportunity to the maximum when prices are adjusted upwards. But for those of us like myself and most, we have a constrained budget making incremental purchases via DCA a safer way to go in mitigating risks. In our case it also allows being active in the market without waiting for perfect timing, and along the way building a good portfolio, while at the same time not feeling like we are putting too much of our eggs in one basket.

If we have good fundamental and technical analysis skills, we can do scaling when the market is going up. but if our experience and skills are lacking, we should wait until the market corrects and we can buy the coins of our choice. Because scalping is not easy, it takes focus and experience, of course if we have real world activities, it is difficult for us to do.

And even if we do it while having the needed experience, we should always do it responsibly, with limits on our sessions and positions we are entering.
That way, even if we are wrong, we won't be doomed.

The bull market started since the beginning of 2024, though at certain points it goes dip, and corrections which are necessary, and part of the prices moving patterns. I think that the bull market is still ongoing, i have not heard of any analysis suggesting a bear market so far.
I am predicting a long lasting bull run ever, it may continue as one of the longest bull market on crypto history; at least, it may running for the next 6months or more in my opinion.

Fundamental analysis and technical analysis are the two main pillars of trading on which a trader basically trades. Now if someone goes to trading without knowing these two things well, then his probability of profit will be less and the possibility of loss will be more.
For those who want to do day trading or short-term trading, first of all they have to earn good knowledge about these two things and then practice and later when they can get good technical analysis and fundamental analysis then they will be ready to trade. Otherwise I will say their trading a gambling.

It is not easy to do because day trading does require quite qualified trading knowledge and good and correct capital management.
This will also affect a person's mentality in trading because day trading will make a person more intense in the crypto market, so they should not let their guard down.

Day trading requires high focus and always monitors market movements, for those who are busy with the real world because of work will have difficulty doing day trading.
In trading, knowledge, knowledge and skills are needed and managing risk in order to maximize the opportunity to gain profit. so there are many things that we should understand if we want to decide to do day trading because shorterm is more difficult.

I can't help but ask your opinion on this guys, are we gradually heading to the much anticipated bull run of 2024/2025?
Yes? Maybe? I mean we've seen Bitcoin's price going upwards for the past 2 months already (September and October).
This will be a gradual process, but I believe that we are heading towards it. I don't know when that it will start, but I firmly believe that we will be seeing it starting most likely at the 1st quarter of 2025 or during the final 2 months of 2024.

Many are waiting for that much anticipated bull run, but until now, there's no catalyst that would trigger the bull run. I mean we need events or news that will have a big effect towards the price of Bitcoin or even the Stock market at least. I'm still waiting for it to happen, but I will not be surprised if the worst thing happens and it will not start either this year or next year. :D

After 2023 Bitcoin price was in an upward trend. On January 1, 2024, the price of Bitcoin started at 42200. From there, the Bitcoin price rose to a maximum of 73,000, which is why 2024 is definitely one of the best years for Bitcoin. We are definitely in the bull run or many may say pre-bull run stage which means the bull run may start very soon. Since the price of Bitcoin is likely to cross $100k this year or next year, we can say that Bitcoin's bull run is about to start. But I will not call the current time as eternally bearish because now its price is close to ATH. At any time it has the ability to create new ATH again. Compared to other years, the upcoming bull run is likely to be longer. We may see such a market trend after the US election.

Maybe the catalyst will came for the US, as they will elect a new President and one of them is so called pro-Bitcoin so maybe if he wins, then it will be the one that we are all been waiting for.

Let's just be positive that this bull run will still continue and it might happen next month and then if Trump wins, he will official sit in January 2025 and with that, the bull run will still go as plan in 2025 and we might see 6 digits after all the waiting.

US presidential election will affect the crypto market because one of the candidates is pro bitcoin and trump has also made transactions with bitcoin to get votes from crypto lovers, I think everyone is waiting for who will win the US presidential election. If trump wins maybe the market will go up and if he loses we will probably see a big correction.

Therefore, it is necessary to point out that an outstanding effect of the US presidential election on the crypto market is not a direct line through to the US presidential election as the crypto policy is not limited to a certain candidate material or their support of Bitcoin. However, it is equally healthy to remember that boost from a candidate like Trump, although can be positive in the short term, the Crypto market reacts to any number of other macroeconomic factors, those include monetary policy, government regulation, and increasing institutional adoption. As much as the president elect has pulled into support of cryptocurrency, the market will still experience fluctuations as the outcome of other factors such as regulatory actions by international organizations or even the advancement of the blockchain technology.
