What are your opinion towards negative impact of gambling in sport?

gambling in sporting communities makes for more competitiveness and even increases entertainment while watching the game but i noticed that some do not even like the sport and just gamble for the sake of earning some profit which does not make for a good community

of course we want to be able to be in a community where people are genuinely interested in the sport and not just for the money so i guess that is one thing that gambling has negatively affected sporting activities

Match-fixing is a real problem in sports, and it hurts the integrity of the game. When players, coaches, or officials get involved in fixing matches, it ruins the competition. I don't know why they fix matches for money it takes away from the spirit of the sport

The increase of teens gambling on sports I think is also because teens are fans of sports where as a fan they root for their favourite team. When I was just a teen I also bet on sports but we're just betting collection cards like the X-men cards.

Today is different because online betting platform are easy to install already and teens can fund their accounts as well. The KYC is not even a problem for them, which I guess the suggestion for government to step in is reasonable.

We cannot separate gambling from sports because all of the elements in sports are all there for gamblers to do their things, and some sports are created to sustain gambling so its the same with playing on luck based casinos and sports betting, all the risk factors and dangers of losing money and losing your mind are all present, so your motivation and control you had on luck based games should be the same on sports betting.

That is a chain that will never be broken, for me FIFA itself is corrupt, there is always a black hand there that is not allowing sport as such to triumph, there are players, teams that are always FIFA's favourites and this is something that will always be made known, personally I am a person who will always say that in sports, and not just football, there are always games like this, and this is a fact, in retrospect when we are going to make a bet we should already consider all these types of things, for me it is a clear example of some players favoured by FIFA that always help them win.

I think you have created these kinds of similar topics before.
And here I want to say that every thing is the world have both side negative and the positive sides now it depends on us how we will used that.
Now lots of people including the playing gambling in a wring way some of them are doing is excessive playing and some of doing illegal match fixxing. And what I think is nothing excessive is good then what ever it is it can be also the food also So every thing have the negative and positive sides we will be benicial if we used to handle the positive sides rather than on negative side.

For sports: referees, coaches, and athletics maybe tempted to compromise or manipulate games for financial gain, gambling introduces corruption and match fixing , uncompromising the integrity and fairness of any competition.

I don't on other sports, but basketball particularly in NBA is combatting these game fixing and game manipulation just for the sake of winning on bets. The recent incident was on Jontay Porter. Just make quick search on it online and you will find many articles of it. Maybe there are some sports where game fixing, game manipulation and the like are very rampant, but it's up to the management if they will allow it or not. I mean I believe they can do it.

Moreover it can also promote aggressive behavior violence, especially when fans lose significant amount of money.

Additionally, the presence of widespread sports betting can lead to issues with underage gambling, exposing younger audiences to its risks. In the long term, gambling in sports can erode the spirit of fair competition, reducing the enjoyment and value of sports as a cultural and recreational activity.  This is my own opinion.

As for underage people who are gambling, there's nothing we can do about it if their parents can't help them. With how easy it is to access gambling sites online, there's no doubt that they will gamble especially if they're curious to try it. As for aggressive behavior, I don't know, but the people who are only doing this are the ones that can't even control themselves especially when they lose money. Can't blame them, but I hope they're ready for the consequences when they did something violent.

What are your opinion towards negative impact of gambling in sport?

As much as I want to say positive things about gambling, I can't think of any. My opinion? Sports gambling will stay no matter what happens. Some sports are even advertising them.
