HODLers, do you use paper wallets?

Too risky to use,i would rather buy and use hardware wallet like trezor for cheaper one for safety and morely for security reasons just what i did.

Paper wallets can be physical damage, and loss, so naw.

If you have paper wallet while in Tampa a week ago, I can only assume the paper wallet is already damaged. There are just risk even when you move to an offline wallet.

I used to try a paper wallet back in 2016, it just leaves me holding while majority of the people in a bull market is selling when price touches ATH. Gotta make it easy to access if you are a trader who expects profit.

No,i personally have had several experiences with paper wallets and wouldn't advise anyone to engage in this method.Why,specifically stating this is because paper wallets do not ensure maximum security of funds,when misused or stolen,retrieving funds arent easily retriveable,sometimes not even retrievable at all,does that promise security?No...
However,it's also good only when partaking in long term investmen,having no much access to internet and so on.

I am not a fan of it and it is the old way of keeping Bitcoins while we've got hardware wallets now and airgapped wallets, these two are way better than paper wallets. I know that some are keeping the tradition and still suggests it but each of them have their respective disadvantages which I think is more with the paper wallets. Well, on this, whichever you prefer that you're comfortable with then that's the better choice.

I don't use paper wallets, I find them fragile and inconvenient. I currently have ledger for my long holds, hardware wallets continue to have my trust because I am yet to see a case where a user lost funds due to a fault in hardware wallet.

How do you store your seed?

Because I use the paper that Ledger provides, and I hide in a safe place in my house, so I need to use a paper too

Yeah, paper wallets were all the rage back in 2012 when I first got into crypto. My friend bought 7 BTC then but lost the paper wallet with all the info, so there's no way to access those BTC now @@

Paper wallets are outdated and in my honest opinion, it is better to use hardware wallets or set up your own airgapped wallet. In the past paper wallets used to be popular, but few people use them now, for your cold storage, set up your own airgapped wallet if you do not trust hardware wallet manufacturers.

I don't find HWs inconvenient but each their own. And, yes you are right about high humidity thing, my ledger nano S screen got damaged as I had it kept outside without knowing it could get damaged that way, and now can't read anything on it anymore. I honestly expected them to be durable than that.

There have been many reports of problems with the Ledger screen, many in fact, it's not that hard to happen, and it's often not the user's fault
But there is a solution, on Aliexpress for example, there are sellers who sell the screen for a very good price, and the repair is relatively easy, if you need a tutorial I can help

Nope, and I never even thought about creating one (well, I thought, but not seriously).

Thing is, hardware wallets are so easily available and affordable that I personally see no need of creating one. I do understand that paper wallets can be very safe if done properly, but I guess I am just too lazy to make one.

Using a wallet comes in with it's own demand or let me put it in this way as a challenge, but as we already know, most holders make use of the wallet they have either discovered being the most effective for them to use in terms of security and privacy and that same has the highest recommendation for any reason for it's use, them maybe other people may also uses this same paper wallet all because they see it as not being bad to that extent for their use.

You are right paper wallets were once popular but now people prefer hardware wallets. Hardware wallets are safer and easier to use. They keep your private information secure with special chips and protect it from online hackers. Paper wallets are not as safe because you have to share your private information online. Hardware wallets store your information offline making them best choice for people who want top security. They offer better security and are easy to use and have advanced features making them best way to keep your cryptocurrencies safe.

Paper wallets were the default option before hardware wallets were invented. I suppose that most people have migrated but there have been some financial, let's say casualties where the paper wallet was damaged or lost before this happened.

So let's just relegate all paper wallets to the dark corner of history and forget about their existence entirely. They are not worth it anymore.
