Well from Op's write up so far it seems he's actually mixing up trading and hodling just like Hatchy mentioned. Trading requires a nice  level of practice and discipline too. Becoming a successful trader isn't something you achieved by going through some online courses alone. Trading is profitable and similarly it's also very risky especially if you are not good enough.

On the other hand, when it comes to hodling I think the very first and most important thing is security and that's because you wouldn't have the coins to HODL in the first place if it gets stolen by some hacker or scammer. Hodling isn't as technical as trading that's the reason many people prefer it to trading.

Its good thing to review things again and again and in a bull run more newbies are there in crypto market. For them this is new and helpful but it is not enough you should add more to it.

Security is not the only concern in BTC trading but in all the cryptocurrencies we must be concerned security like which wallet to use and which exchange to use the broker you mentioned in the last post is also not a good suggestion for newbies to follow they should trade on reputed exchanges no via brokers.
