No matter what, ETH will bounce back along with BTC: I do think that it's going to stay that way, and crypto in general gained traction because of the politicians using it as a way to gather people and their votes.
However, it's only a talk, the real rally for BTC hasn't started yet.

Everything that happened is just proof that some wrong moves were obviously made in an attempt to create a coin that will be "greener" than Bitcoin, which has been proven to use more than 50% of energy from renewable sources. VB was always trying to do something better than BTC, but apparently he didn't learn anything from Satoshi.

As for the miners, they did make a profit from mining, but they also reinvested it in new equipment around which there was an entire industry that literally disappeared overnight.

There are a lot of things to learn when we first venture on our crypto journey. But I will say that it could be either Ethereum or Bitcoin for us since they are the two best coins in the market.
