Yesterday, as everyone noticed, there was a drop in the value of cryptos and it was due to the news that tether is supposedly under investigation by US Government
It appeared on some news channels and profiles:

Is the DoJ mailing him, hey we're starting an investigation be sure to keep all your records clean and accessible, and be careful to absolutely not delete anything that might incriminate you? Lol!
Remember when CZ was threatening newspapers about his investigation of Japan? He was in a plane fleeing Japan and he was tweeting everything is fine, we will sue you for misinformation, and so on! Deja vu!

I'm not sure hahaha, nobody can guarantee anything, I just posted what the CEO said, and at least he didn't take so long to answer something important like another people of other projects
I hope it's only FUD, but we can't be sure until we have an official announcement
Something wrong with Tether can cause a huge drop in cryptos, just like Luna, Celsius, FTX etc
Can be bad for all of us, even if we don't hold any USDT

I think that's just FUD from the WSJ, and the Tether CEO has already shot it down. We don't know the real motive behind it, but some investors panicked and sold their tokens to protect their profits.

What's interesting is that even with all the FUD around Tether, investors are cashing out into USDT instead of other stablecoins. The USDT cap is still holding steady, and 1 USDT is still equal to 1 USD on the market. This confirms that investors trust and hold USDT. These FUDs just make them nervous about the overall market, not the value of USDT.

This is just a FUD because I believe that when it comes to business there will always be disruptions, this FUD will only be a passing wind for Tether because I believe Paolo Ardoino can solve problems like this. As far as I know, Bitcoin or other altcoins can also be used for terrorist or criminal funding because it depends on the user, USDT is a cryptocurrency that everyone has the right to use.
Regardless of whether it is for terrorist or criminal funding, it certainly has nothing to do with Paolo Ardoino. So, I am sure that this USDT CEO can provide the correct and real answer regarding the development of the USDT coin.

Not to burst the bubble, but I wouldn't trust Tether though, it might have it's used, but that's it. I wouldn't left a lot of money on them, just a couple to stop the bleeding if the market is in red but that's it.

For as long as I've known cryptos (since 2017), Tether has always been “under suspicion”

A few years ago they had dubious investments, but over the years, the company has acquired many US government bonds, and this has helped strengthen the company's cash position
I also have the same opinion as you, Tether is always being watched closely and I believe that everything is fine with the company at the moment

I have something in common with you. I also believe in USDT. Because when the market goes down my capital does not face much loss. It seems the most reliable to me. And for this reason, this USDT gets the highest right for me especially in terms of trading.

We have heard many rumors about Tether, but it continues to exist and thrive, meaning the accusations have failed. I will only believe in official announcements regarding any lawsuit against Tether. Otherwise, everything is just rumors spread for some purpose, such as creating fear in the market to dump many tokens before bullrun.

Investors should stay calm and sober to avoid falling into the whales traps, as whales can use the media to manipulate the buying and selling behavior of retail investors. Personally, I trust and continue to use USDT without any doubt or worry. I will dedicate my energy and time to focusing on market analysis to generate profits.

I mean we have heard Tether being investigated since 2018, so I guess they are not bothered to hear that they are being investigated and so the CEO has responded very quick to dismissed it again.

Anyhow, let's see how it goes, again, they have been investigated in the past and I do not think that it will affected them negatively.

Some of the news that bothered on the Tether platform might have been blown out of proportion, though behind every remoure, there might be some elements of truth.
I think that the issue of Tether investigation has lingered so  long, it seems that they might be some hidden agenda, because if no hidden secrets why this news keep coming even since 2018? I am still wondering what must have happened between Tether and the company they were  involved with. I can't find myself the details, still searching, or may be somebody can help.

I'm sure this is really FUD for Tether because until now Tether still stands firmly in the 3rd rank of Coinamrketcap and even many crypto lovers hodL Tether rather than USDC, DAI and FDUSD. It is also proven that now this news has no effect on Tether and bad news like this can only be ignored by Tether.

Hopefully something like this will no longer happen to Tether because it can have an effect on the price of Tether, I still remember when USDC got FUD so that the price of USDC dropped to 0.7 USD for 1 Dollar, for the FUD I don't really remember but the effect of this FUD is very detrimental because as far as I know if USDC drops to 0.7 USD for 1 Dollar it is the same as minus -30%.
This bad story should not happen again to USDT or Tether.
