It's not a bad idea, IMO. As long as you have customers and you are running smoothly, why not? I know companies that were created at the end of the year and are now 20 years old, up and running.
If there is seasonal demand, it might be a different thing. If it's something surging when it's in Q4, it could work.
Maybe do something like a preparation before fully establishing a presence in the world the following year.
