...I see rombomix.io is still down, it would be interesting to redirect its traffic to the .com domain when things settle up.

Redirecting traffic from the old domain to the new one had to be done by the team first of all, so as not to lose their former customers. But for unknown reasons, this was not done and now the old domain is not working. It is possible that this means that the team does not have access to the domain configuration.

The domain name registrar could block access to DNS settings at the request of the regulatory authority. Otherwise, the team would have been able to redirect to a new domain.

Only rombomix can answer this question but it is not ISP or ASN blocking, so it is TLD blocking/seizing, usually when a domain is seized users are redirected to a police report page or Interpol or other police links.


I searched and did not find any police links related to rombomix, so this^[1] may be the reason.

Anyway, Rombomix will make an official announcement on their website regarding this domain change to ensure users do not accidentally visit any phishing sites.

Yes, it does look strange, since this someone who has access to the rombomix.io domain simply disabled DNS, while he could have placed some text in his interests and made a redirect to another domain.

I went to the link you provided yesterday, but this topic is closed there and there is a message that "scheduled for unblocking". And today by clicking on the link https://rombomix.com/ I saw that the problem was really solved and the functionality of the site was restored.
