I wonder if DOGE and SOLANA mixer are reliable (I googled some and some do exist)

Last time I saw solana mixer it was a scam, and I wouldn't waste time making anything for that crap.
I don't know if this is true, but I heard that there is not many open source wallet for solana available, that tells you everything you need to know...

Maybe this can be a good reason to create a realible platform which can mix the best cryptocurrencies. Users wouldn't need to look for a mixer for each coin

We agree that there aren't any reliable mixing platforms for other altcoins. But currently, RomboMix has plans for ETH and BTC only. Maybe in the future on public demand, but not now!


Regarding the minimum amount, we are unable to make it any lower at this moment. Also, we have a high commission and a high bar due to the fact that we have a unique way of cleaning coins, and it does not matter how much you clean, 10$ or 100.000$, the minimum price for cleaning will be the same (cost price) + percentage of the value, so there is no point in accepting small transactions. We apologize for the inconvenience.

it is obvious that as privacy concerns is growing fast, with increasing demands for Bitcoin,/altcoins, using a mixers can be particularly important. The possibility for people launching mixers platforms will also be on the increase with an open opportunities for scammers to join the mixers frenzy with many domains, phishing links, fake mixers websites to scam people.
In facts, i think that in near future we may be seeing various popular altcoins mixers platforms, even among the Solana mixer that is already here, probably as one of the scam mixers domains.

There are a lot of published papers relating to the anonymization of Bitcoin funds, so I'm going to assume that some people have at least attempted to study methods for anonymizing ETH, especially since they have things like smart contracts.

And by extension, Bitcoin forks like LTC, DOGE, Dash, all have the same UTXO model as Bitcoin so the same anonymization methods apply.

But as far as I know, Solana is a completely different blockchain, and not many people understand how it really works. So that impedes development of a proper mixer.

I think that Solana mixing can be carried out on the same principle as RomboMix is doing now by mixing ETH. But as DYING_SOUL writes, work on mixing Solana is not relevant for the team right now.

Great!! RomboMix isn't only focused on ETH mixing now, it seems RomboMix will start to have more coins after adding BTC. I'm a bit curious about the plans for the long run. Will RomboMix to provide many crypto coins mixing? SOL and ADA look possible to have their mixing, too.

I'm not sure about the justification for launching mixers for other altcoins.
If other directions were made, such as BTC to ETH or XMR... It would no longer be a mixer but an instant exchange. A completely different business model.

As examplens said, it would be a completely different business model. The whole purpose of mixing coins and getting pure ones doesn't apply here IMO!

At this moment RomboMix doesn't have any plans for other altcoins! As I said before, they are only focused on ETH and BTC, developing the current system, improving anonymity. A lot of things are going on under the hood! You just have to patience

If the exchange had the option to send Bitcoin and receive Bitcoin in return, then such an exchanger could be considered a mixer. The exchange of the same currency is not an exchange, and therefore vice versa.

To have the option of exchanging BTC for ETH, the service must also monitor the relationship of this pair on the market, and it would also have to have sufficient reserves of both currencies at all times. It may happen that a large number of users want to sell ETH, so there would be situations where the mixer does not have enough BTC, which would be absurd. This would force them to go to the market and buy BTC to maintain the liquidity of reserves.

When I wrote the previous post, and just now I checked. There are currently 0.155390245270689981 ETH reserves on eXch. Some Ethereum mixers should not allow themselves to be able to provide a mixing service due to the current state of the market and the declining trend of some coins.
