Forum Suffixes on Bitcoin and others Should be Removed.

I don't know if another thread of this magnitude has been created here but I didn't see it that is why I am creating this. I wanted to create this thread since the first day I joined the forum but it escaped from memory and recently it reoccurred again and here it is. Bitcoin being the king of cryptocurrency has it own forum which is bitcointalk, Ethereum as well and others therefore, seen Bitcoin Forum as a board here looks awkward. At first I thought when I clicked it it would linked me to another website of the particular cryptocurrency Forum but I discovered that it is foe discussing the particular cryptocurrency here.

Example: Bitcoin Forum, Ethereum Forum,  Solana Forum, Privacy Coins Forum, Stable Coins Forum etc should be rename to boards or section so that it will not tally with the main forum of the project. This is an altcoins forum which comprises all the altcoins from other forums so it will be better to remove the forum suffixes from Bitcoin, Ethereum and others so that users will not think that it links to another of their Forums. Good idea but your suggestion may not be accepted because a forum can be inside a forum. Bitcointalk is a forum but that does not mean Altcoinstalks can not have a subforum called bitcoin forum where people can also still discuss everything about bitcoin. It is still about bitcoin, there should be no problem.

You have a point here op. If I get you correctly, you are actually suggesting that all the suffices after a particular crypto currency discussion section here should be something different from "Forum". Well that makes sense but I think admin must have left it that way because of the idea that this is a crypto currency forum and as such, people wouldn't think to be redirected to a different crypto currency forum just to discuss that particular coin.

The idea here is simply choice of words, from your point of view FORUM isn't the right word however something like BOARD seems more on point but for some reason it really doesn't rhyme well with me though probably section is a ok alternative too.

If I tell someone that he shall check 'Bitcoin Forum about the thread", the person will not come here to check but in Bitcointalk. Now let see the concept of Forum. Question. What is a Forum? A forum is a platform, group in which discussion takes place in the course of the creation of the project. Why the project is created and other related matters. Example altcoinstalks was a Forum created to discuss Cryptocurrencies. Bitcointalk was created to discuss Bitcoin and reddit is to discuss Ethereum. So seeing Ethereum forum in bitcointalk forum does not make sense. Instead it should be a board or section.

I think part of the reason it's this way is because if you search for say "Solana forum" in a search engine, this section is more likely to appear with "forum" in the title, as opposed to just forum just being referenced on the front page of the website. At least that's the impression I get, although defi tokens forum I also find from searching (without needing forum in the section title) so could be wrong.

Those board names as "Coin name" does matter and looks pretty normal. You cannot just name those boards as "Ethereum", "Solana" etc. well, it can be, but having a word "forum" after coin name is not bad at all.
Forum is a forum, it's not only about being a website, and board names can be called forums too.
