Can politicians be Trusted with their promises ?

It sounds like former US president, mr Donald Trump is certain about his bold promises about his cryptocurrency support. Through out his campaign rally, and many of his  speeches, he had assured the crypto community about his commitment to the developments especially making the US the center of crypto mining hub of the world, and that every American citizen has the right to self custody of their digital assets etc.
However, I think that politicians all over the world will always use fare speeches to lure voters.
But do you think Donald Trump will follow his bold promises? It is easier said than done!

I think he will follow his promises as I know I am late in replying to this thread but till now he made sure that Gary will be replaced and he did it, and promises to make the US the center hub of crypto and giving every US citizen the right to self custody their tokens is a very stupid promise I mean if I am a US citizen I will be the one taking custody of my assets like why would I give it to someone else!

So far I did not know of such promises too because the ones he made were prominent ones and if he fulfills them the market will surely pump like opposition of CBDCs, no taxation, etc. In short I think we can trust this one.

I am not a big fan of Donald trump. I would support Kamala Harris when it comes to politics and other ethics. But, I have to admit that Donald Trump seems to be keeping his promises and he is already working on that. In general, I do not believe what other politicians promise. They promise to provide us with a drug-free society, but in reality, they are controlling the drug dealers. But we are talking about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency here. Donald Trump already took some actions and I believe he will keep his other promises as well.

How easy the politicians can convince people to vote for them after making them a lot of promises and they fall for them. How hard it is to make everyone believe that bitcoin technology is the way forward as far as the financial market is concerned and they still doubt its existence and what it entails to provide for all that embraces it. Donald Trump has made a huge promise Toby he crypto community and on how large the community is, I don’t think that Donald Trump will disappoint and not fulfill most of them, that will just tarnish his image more generally.

I am not really a political inclined person but I really love politicians that keep other promises, it shows they can be trusted even in the future and in some other public positions they will hold in the future. I have no doubts to how much he can achieve, even before entering office, he’s already setting the pace and that’s what is most needed from a leader. Bitcoin should thrive during his tenure and if for any reason it doesn’t, they he’s still the main cause of it but I doubt if it’ll ever get to this stage.

I've seen politicians here in our country that aren't fulfilling their promises, and I'm used to it already, and for sure many of us are used to it as well that we aren't bothered anymore if they aren't fulfilling their promises. One example and for sure many in our country knows it, but our last president said that he will eradicate drugs in our country in 6 months in his campaigns, and when he won, he didn't fulfill it and in fact, he didn't eradicate it in his whole 6 years as our president.

As for Trump, I have low expectations that he will fulfill his promises especially when it comes to cryptocurrency. I guess it's just good if he will fulfill some, but let's lower our expectations with this one.
