Solution for chat not appearing on the chat box

Hey everyone, I don't know if this topic or help have been offered before on a separate thread but if none then I think I should drop this update, this will help one or two forum members finding hard for they chats to appear on the forum chat box.

So today I notice my messages were not displaying on the chat box, and haven't read the complain of another member of the forum about the same thing, but luckily for me I was able to fine the solution around this problem.

There is a boton below the chat box, if it on pause your chats won't appear, you have to manually click on it and let it turn to play, from the your chats will start appearing.

With the blue pause bottom, your chat won't appear of the chat box and likely you may not see others chats.

Click on the pause bottom to turn it to play, like in the image two, this way you can interact on the chatbox.

I don't know what the issue may be that is actually causing your chat box not to display on your end. It's been quite a while I made use of the chat box. When I first saw this I had to check if the chat box actually displays on my end. Anyways I noticed that the chat box only displays on the home page of the forum and doesn't display on other pages.

I saw a past similar to this yesterday too when a member was complaining that the chat box wasn't displaying on his end. Anyways according to admin , he actually suggested that he checked if his adblocker was turn on since he wasn't blocked by admin from making use of the chat box.

Yeah mate I thought of including a screenshot to the post to make it more clearer to understand I thinks this is not about my browser or setting but, should be a general problem which this thread can help everyone other members of the forum.

If that is the solution then there bug there because they button is mainly for the manque displaying there. But as you said I just tried the method and it works. Then there is a mistake with button and the chat box. And admin has to cross check the button.

As in? That button is for the news panel moving there inside, that should be a bug, a mix up of javascript function knowing that there is no news showing there.

I think this bug is bigger that we thinks and Admin will have to fix things in here pretty quick.

Although that play and pause button isn't intended for the chat so it won't really do anything about it your message delivery in the chat. That seems to be a bug that needs to be fixed for some users. I just noticed that our news panel don't have display anymore even if the button is on play.

The play and pause button is purely for news feed with marquee displaying. Yesterday when the Op created the thread and I saw it then followed the instructions and made a chat there yesterday but today I can't again even clicking the play and pause button, it still not appearing. And in the chat I saw admin comment that it is not from that button because the button is not functioning and it is probably a server issue. So I believed he is working on it now.

Since it is not working now I will check back later.

There is indeed something wrong here.

I received a message "Your message is being sent" but I forgot to make a screen shot.

After a few tries, it was working perfectly. But my first 2 tried i wrote the message and it didn't appear in the chat.

I was not able to find the cause of the problem

Are you guys using uBlock or something that blocks advertisements? Because the pause button supposedly used to pause the ads, am I right?

There might be something in your browser that blocks you on the chat while the ads are paused unless admin fixes it just right now?

I don't think something is wrong with my browser but I don't know of others. I use the chat day before yesterday and it works, and I followed the instruction of wiwo but yesterday it didn't work again. Though I have not tried today. Yes mate, the thing is that, at first this pause and play erroneously worked for my chat box appearance multiple times, which is why I was convinced to create this thread to help others, but it seems it didn't work for long so I will have to lock this thread to avoid any further comment on this.

I am not using ublock or any adblocker. I have to recheck with my browser but there's really no problem at all and it's not only one person that do experience it so, there should be a need to update it imo.
