when it’s just a meme, it’s okay because everyone is just laughing at it but once they turn it into something profitable that is where the line gets blurry sometimes the owner of the character of the character himself don’t mind but i am pretty sure there are legal repercussions in what most developers are doing they are just lucky that no one seems to be wanting to push a lawsuit against them
