I woke up to check my portfolio on BingX exchange this morning and I discovered Bitcoin bullish momentum has broke through the previous ATH of $74k and created a new high at $75k. This breakout seems to have come as a result of Donald Trump prediction to win the U.S. Presidential election which must have been a catalyst to increase investors hope in cryptocurrency. I feel it's time we all keep a close eye on other key players in the crypto market in the likes of ETH, SOL, XRP and others as they reacts to following Bitcoin's lead. Also, this could be an ideal moment to take a fresh look at your portfolio and consider how to position yourself in the market.

Looks like BTC is not losing dominance and I see altcoins struggling, like ETH for example, pretty hard to do ATH again

About position in the market, I'll not do anything at the moment, I think I'll just watch right now and not sell or buy

Why not. Other coins will follow suit but not with the same price increase as Bitcoin. Altcoins move gradually in price, not at full momentum with Bitcoin. Some altcoins will take some time before giving their ATH. But the fact remains that, they will, and nobody knows the exact price and when they are to give their ATH, as they tend to follow Bitcoin to surge.

Positioning oneself in crypto should be done by next year when we are sure that the bull run has started

Most altcoins have started to increase quite significant today. They are surely following the bullish trend on Bitcoin. ETH, BNB, XRP, SOL, and some top altcoins should be monitored because they will react positively against the good news of Trump's win. Yep, I think it is no longer about the impact of Bitcoin raise, it is about the news of Trump's win.

I'm sure we already have enough coins on our portfolio. We already have red markets in August-September, November-December is the time for green market. We are in the position of monitoring the target of taking profits. I'm sure some of us may start to sell certain coins.

About the current pump I think it is surely for the United states of America's election results where trump won the election and this is one of the reason for this bullish market. And I also think this pump is for a certain period after that it will come back to the under 70k range.
And about the altcoins yes the whole crypto market have good influence on this issues and we already saw that some coins having more than 10%+ pump. As we see Ethereum is in the corner of 3k after a long time. And we also saw dogecoin have huge pump.

Bitcoin's rise looks great. Even though my investment is very small, I am very pleased to see the rise of the Bitcoin market. We have seen Bitcoin rise surprisingly early in November and hit all-time highs. Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $76,850 which has never happened before but was all made possible by Donald Trump winning the presidency. Donald Trump promised his supporters that the price of Bitcoin would rise if he won, but Donald Trump's promise has certainly been kept. But at the moment only Bitcoin has increased more while altcoin has not increased much. But I am not recommending anyone to invest in altcoin right now but as per personal desire one can invest.

We now have a crypto president as thw world power president, which is a good achievement for the community and that will make more investors venture into the cryptospace. Bitcoin price movement is what altcoins follows and they don't increase significantly as bitcoin, but many of them might not be able to see a new ATH like bitcoin, because bitcoin price is determined by demand and supply.

Seeing how bitcoin broke and reached a new all time high in a couple of hours was one of the shocking and surprising times in the market. The market is very volatile but it still does its thing and recorded a new all time high. The other big coins in the market also followed suit in bitcoin surge but none of them was as volatile as bitcoin and they continue to be consolidating and not reaching a new all time high yet. I have heard of the saying that there’s the altcoin season, I ponder why they can’t be in the same season with bitcoin, because whenever bitcoin rise in price, they also do the same. But this surge as clearly differentiate them and have now seen clearer why the bitcoin season is different from the altcoin season. We may see their own time in the soonest where they’ll also begin to break their current ATH to mark a new one just like bitcoin did.

We cannot fully predict if the altcoins season have begun or not, but we are more sure that every other coins is raising together with Bitcoin even though their own season have not yet started, they still work along in marking the bullish trend as little they could afford to rise when bitcoin is pumping as well, since when bitcoin leads, others follows in most cases, even before the full altcoins seasons begins, already some altcoins are making their all time high this period while some may later do that during their own season.

Currenlty, bitcoin is over the 77k but I think this pump is for only the United states of America's Elections and there are was hype because donald trump said that If he wins they would work for decreasing the tax on cryptocurrency and there another big cryptoi ethustian person the Elon Musk supported the Donald Trump as he win we saw a big pump after the bitcoin on the Dogs coin.
But what I think this pump is not the real bull run I think we are seeing this pump for a certain period and after that bitcoin will go back to the under 70k price and then may be the first Q of 2025 it can put step on the real bull run.

Whenever the market would really be having those greens then it will really be that having those chances or do happen all the time that altcoins would really be following through.
Although not all projects or coins will really be following into Bitcoins current trend whether bearish or bullish but we cant be able to deny that Bitcoin will really be always the main trend setter
on which on the moment or time that it do have that bearish or bullish momentum then you could expect that other coins will really be that doing the same and vice versa.
One of the indications on which it do really dictates on what the market does currently have in terms of trend and price movement.

By the time I'm making this post, Bitcoin just reached $79,000 already. A new ATH indeed.

Yes, this is the result of Trump winning the US election. As expected, it became the catalyst on what we are waiting - a huge increase on the price of Bitcoin. As for the altcoins though, I believe that they followed as soon as Bitcoin's price went up already. Most of the altcoins will follow the movement of Bitcoin along the way, but on the top 100 will not surpass their previous all-time high for many reasons. I've seen many top altcoins that ended up going below the top 100 for many reasons.

As for Bitcoin, I believe that in the next months, it will continue to go up and in the upcoming weeks, we might see the start of the bull run already.

I find your lack of faith in ETH disturbing. ETH is sure to break it's all time high.

Some altcoins are moving gradually in their own space to make it up for all time high and some managed to get there while a number of them couldn't attempt anything close to it, this is because maybe their own season have not started yet, but we are going to see more of these coins making it to their own all time high anytime soon, they are only preparing the ground down before the take off.
