Hahaha trump seems to be still silent and hasn't said anything about crypto or Bitcoin, is this really intentional so that Bitcoin continues to go down and will continue to experience a downtrend until it reaches $80k again?

Altcoins are indeed very affected by the decline in the price of Bitcoin, especially some news about deepseek which is an Ai chatbot from China that can dominate the AI market share in the US, of course this will threaten and make the stock market fall and also have an impact on Bitcoin, but of course not in the long term, only the effect.

I don't know what is going to happen. We all are speculating about the market. If you ask me, I am kind of worried about whether Bull Run is going to end without having an all-season. The Alts never accumulated enough to start the Alt season. Every time alts accumulated a little, a down trend happened, and most of the alts actually lost what they accumulated.

I don't know why trump is silent. Understandably, he has more important things to do. He is a president, after all. So, he cannot just focus on one thing. He have to handle the entire country.

I believe that the bull run is not yet over and we are definitely going to see a new ATH. As long as Trump is just starting, he will definitely add impact on thw crypto space. I believe in three months time after his Inauguration, we will hear something positive on crypto that will trigger the price of bitcoin to pump higher. I don't want to miss out in this bull run.

I think a few months is too long, and I don't think we were still in a bullish trend at that time. When there is no news that may impact the price of Bitcoin, people typically sell because they are tired of holding. In most circumstances, sellers win. So now the price of Bitcoin is $101k, down from $106k. Based on the current structure of Bitcoin, we can definitely see a downward trend in the ltf. So, if there is no news, it is possible that the situation would worsen.

When Bitcoin goes sideways or somewhat lower trend, the altcoins get affected mostly. I noticed that Bitcoin has been moving down for the last couple of days, and it is now 100K from 108K, not 106K. My portfolio went down 20% in the last few weeks because of that. I thought we would see the alt season very soon once Bitcoin is stable at over the 100K price range.

Bitcoin stayed over 100K for weeks, but it was moving down a trend, which actually did not let the altcoins go up. Let's see if we heard something from Mr. Trump in coming weeks.

right, following the story of crypto and DT is very interesting, where there is a lot of speculation about the price of bitcoin, and as we see after DT's inauguration the value of bitcoin fluctuates mostly towards the bottom rather than the top, a unique and unpredictable movement, for bitcoin itself. so for the current conclusion whether or not DT becomes president does not really affect bitcoin, but it does affect the meme coin that he issued and makes the market blush

Look at the market today. I am not doing future trade. But when Bitcoin moves 10% down in 24 hours, the alts go down 30% in 24 hours. Some of the alts from my portfolio actually went 30% down in the last 24 hours, and some of them are 50% down in the last couple of weeks. If I had 150 USD a month ago, it's not around 110 USD. I am not telling you the exact figure, but giving you an example. Let's the market will recover. I am not worried about Bitcoin because I know it will recover over time. But most of these alts will have a hard time.

Buh you are right, basically I can't give good reason to why the market dip that much to 93k and gain back moment to reaches 100k even as it's hovering around 100-99k at least we shouldn't expect that in this early part of February, though I don't know if in the historical data Bitcoin has proven to be bearish or bullish.

Have you ever heard anything about Bitcoin from Joe Biden? I don't remember if he ever said anything positive about Bitcoin. It was the election result of the US that actually boosted the Bitcoin and crypto market. But once again, I will quote a line from Bitcoin Magazine

It's like a game and the market is always doing a downtrend, Whales may play to get cheaper prices.
Altcoins really don't have a chance to go up when the market is not in a stable state like it is today.

Now just have to wait for what will happen when Bitcoin has reached its lowest point, hopefully, the Bulls will come back and altseason is really highly anticipated.

I agree with you, that's why we have to choose the right alts to invest with. And surely those are located in the top alts in CMC. The reason why some alts went to 30% whiles others are 50% is because of the volatility, that is the number one reason, and also the project itself. If there is no upcoming updates of that project for a long time, like it's ghost town or abandoned, surely it will go down to 50% or more when Bitcoin price fell. So we have to choose well which alts we are going to invest because different from the others and it really affects your funds and your potential profit.

If I should say, I don't think Trump is really silent. He can be silent to Bitcoin, but not to important issues that need him addressing.

What we are seeing Trump doing, that's what is expected of him. He wouldn't jump by talking about Bitcoin immediately when there are issues to fix and resolve in America and the world at large. Let's not forget that Bitcoin doesn't rely on one person. Bitcoin soared when Trump was against it around 2021. Is it now that it won't soar when institutional investors and countries are investing in it big?

What I am saying is, the bull run will surely happen this year. Let's be patient and expect less from Trump.

Two executives orders were signed between last week and this week. The first one is when he wanted to increased tarrifs on some countries and then the other countries retaliate by issuing the same directive and this made crypto market to drop to that prices and then later there was an executive order to create a sovereign wealth fund which further reverse the market to upside again.

All this are short term factors that will get swallow by the crypto market. There was a time when fed cut do have big impacts on the crypto market but it doesn't anymore like the first time it was use as way to pish the market.

Having these drops doesnt mean that we are starting on a bearish season, bare in mind that we have past through bearish season on which we've seen that all time low on which Bitcoin does have and even into other coins as well. It is really just that there are individuals who are really that thinking up easily that this might be going even more worst but come to think that we do have market corrections or consolidations on which it is really just that normal. We cant really be just that able to see a market that wont really be having a correction and does only have that one way on moving. As for Trump or any fundamentals out there, yes they can make out effects but i dont really trust up on what they are currently doing now, i do always those doubts on what they are currently showing.

The market being on the bull run isn't mean that we will not experience short corrections anymore. The road isn't smooth if you know what I mean.

Why Bitcoin dropped significantly? It's because the sentiment of the investors turned bearish when Trump implemented tariffs towards Canada and Mexico. For them, this isn't a good idea hence, most of them sold their assets leading to a dump. it's the same when Trump won the election in November where they see it as a bullish thing hence, the pump happened.

Let's always take note that the market heavily relies on the sentiments of the investors. As to when do I think we will have a new ATH of Bitcoin, I expect that it will happen within the month of February and March, and after that, it's anybody's guess. I believe though that this year will be a bullish year for the crypto market.
