Yes, BNB is noticeably behind Solana in terms of market cap. In principle, this isn't surprising because there is constant hype around meme tokens in the Solana network, while BNB, as it seems to me, is in stagnation because regulators put pressure on CZ and actually took away his exchange. Imho, BNB, as well as Binance without CZ, is something different even though CZ still owns the majority of BNB supply.

As I am writing this reply, SOL is able to maintain its fourth position in CMC with its $113B marketcap while BNB is only at $89B and with this fact alone we can say that there seems to be no more turning around for SOL and am sure that soon it can even be landing at the number 3 spot because USDT has around $127B, Now, unless something dramatic can happen in BNB like it would get into the $1K price level but that is something that may not be coming soon as there seems to be no notable and excited developments in BNB...and it is lagging behind in the memecoin phenomenon. I am just sad that I am not able to make a good ride with SOL because I really doubt its potential when it just started.

SOLANA is the most crowded network and many big investors hunt and create their memecoins on SOLANA so that this makes the increase in volume and dominance of SOLANA even more drastic compared to previous years.

Now the SOL price is $243, and soon it can break the 2021 ATH at the price of $260, I believe this will be achieved soon with the hype of the SOLANA network at the moment and will certainly make a new ATH even higher.

SOL's network is being used a lot, and yes, it has many more use cases than BNB currently does
But it's always good to remember that BNB is closely linked to Binance and SOL has become independent from FTX

I'm not sure if Solana can stay in the 4th rank for long because Binance has an exchange that many people use almost all over the world. For now my answer is like that, maybe for now Solana can be overtaken again by BNB.

In my opinion, SOL is much more attractive at the moment and prepared for the new cycle, with lots of opportunities for airdrops, NFTs, memecoins etc. while BNB seems to be stagnating without much happening right now

Always considered solana to be better than bnb. BNB is heavily dependent on binance, despite it being a native token of bsc chain, it mostly has value because it is gives free money to those who participate in launchpools.

Given the current market conditions, as well as the rapid increase in SOL's market cap, it shouldn't be long before SOL surpasses its next ATH. I always see references about that coin from coinmarketcap and it seems that what you said is very valid. At this time I reply to this topic, I see Solana is trending in the DEX section and beats DEX from Ethereum, Arbitum, BNB and various chains that are already available.
