DT only takes advantage on crypto. I'm not sure if DT is very serious to support crypto for the long run. But he has the intention to make US leading every economic/business sector, including in crypto business. Since China is the 2nd largest country that has the investment in crypto, DT wants us keeping its position above China (1st place). However, I agree that this political matter won't influenced much on Bitcoin for the long term. Bitcoin will cross $100 again, it even may reach a new ATH.
