Two ATH in same year?

that is quite a prediction when did you start counting the fifteen weeks from? is it from when bitcoin reached $100k first? if that is the case then that is surely optimistic a lot of people are only expecting for bitcoin to reach $120k or $150k at best the next year holds some really exciting times for the community but we have to remember that after the bull cycle the bear season will come soon after and there will be less time for bitcoin to try and reach new aths

Scarcity. Supply and Demand are price drivers. Soon Bitcoin's supply will not be able to keep up with the ever-growing demand.
There is a pretty low supply of Bitcoin available over the counter, so we have a supply shortage,  price will reflect this.

Fifteen years to get to 100K, and probably fifteen weeks to double from 100K. I think it could be faster.

The higher the price, the harder it is to get a high % increase... the graph is parabolic as below.



At the beginning of adoption, growth of up to x100000 is very possible in 15 years, but for the next 15 years, x1000 alone based on current prices is very difficult... this rainbow effect applies generally to many assets.

$150 for 1BTC is still possible, but $100 million for 1 BTC in the next 15 years, that is very, very unlikely.

The companies are buying in billions and weak hands are selling to them, Bitcoin will be for Richers in the future due to low balls jeets but I am not an expert who can predict a price of $100 million for 1 BTC in the next 15 years.
However, A double move from 100k isn't just possible, it's probable. The real question is over what period of time.
The answer will reveal itself only in hindsight. Patience and conviction are required.
Bitcoin loves those who buy with their eyes wide open. And is cruel to those who dabble.

Yes, I think he count it from the first time BTC achieving $100k.
In my opinion, it won't be easy to double $100k just in few weeks. Even if there are people who predicted Bitcoin peak price this season will be $200k or above, I personally doubt it. I think it is already an amazing pump if Bitcoin can reach $130k. Honestly, I don't think Bitcoin will reach $150k very quickly in this bullrun season.

After reaching ATH $108K, bitcoin experienced a price drop. And this is natural when bitcoin experiences a correction and it seems that the price of bitcoin is rising again approaching $100K, but we don't know yet whether bitcoin will reach $100K again by the end of this year.
because it seems that this correction will last long until January next year.

I will not comment on the 2 ATHs that happened this year because I see it as more than 2. So the price of bitcoin has exceeded the ATH of $104K, this makes me happy because my portfolio is getting wider. And with the good movement of bitcoin prices in the crypto market, altcoins as bitcoin followers have their prices going up. I also get profit from some of the top altcoins that I hold.

You have a point actually. However I really don't think that theoretically it's ok to call it two ATH or more as the case may be. Well I do agree that price actually broke the current existing price during a particular period more than once however I think the concept is actually if price breaks an existing ath then the old one becomes invalid for a general trend making the new one the valid ATH.

Although for those that trade and as a result do technical analysis too, those old ath may be seen as valid for the sake of analysis or technical analysis rather.

Go to coingecko or coinmarketcap and check Bitcoin ATH, you will see only 1 number and date. Or you think that any sharp spike on the graph is ATH? First is $104k, second $108k? Then why dont you call each cent that came after $104k as a new ATH ? It is wrong to say there were 2 ATH in one year. There was only one ATH and peak prices.

Just like week alone we have a lot of ATH being reach by Bitcoin market and it's crazy that we have a lot of ATH this year pre and post-halving. So no matter how many ATH we see at the end of the year, we should treat it like positive.

So no need to debate or argue on how many times, at the end of the day, what concerns us is what will be the peak, could it be around $180k-$200k?

It actually is worth arguing, since all-time-high can be only be one and others are below all-time-high. I only disagree that there can be several all-time-highs. During Olympic games, when record is updated several times during one Olympic games, nobody say that there several Olympic record holders. There is only one and the rest. 5 days until New Year, I dont think that ATH will be updated. We had only one $108,135 ATH this year and several high prices.

Reaching $100k is the target of the previous cycle, so it very makes sense if BTC reaches $100k in this cycle. Sure, it is not easy but it is still very reasonable. But to reach $200k and even above $200k, it is totally a very different thing. For me, it is a too high hope for the new ATH of BTC.

It is a bit reasonable for the price around  $120k-$150k in Q1 2025. However, we must have some plans if the price can't be above $120k. Even if we are not very far from $120k, we don't be too confident that the price will surely cross  $120k.

in a few weeks would be unrealistic i am sure bitcoin will get there eventually but i am not only giving it a few weeks to do so that would be insane and unlikely if you start expecting like this and it doesn’t happen you might get disappointed

My expectation was 100k in this bull season, I had placed a sell order for my holding bitcoins at 100k, but later when I saw that there was a lot of potential in the market, I cancelled the 100k order and set a target of 110k again. But now I am thinking of setting my target at 120k because this time, Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America, can make the cryptocurrency space boom in the world economy. And for this reason, my target is currently set at 120k and I will sell here and try to be satisfied.
