It also depends on what cryptocurrency you have invested on, not all will give you same benefits like the other.. for instance BTC, which give s it's investors decentralized system, where you don't have to obey some government rules before you can use of withdraw your funds.. there are many other benefits that BTC offers and to me is the only one that has such capabilities...

This is perfect for those who do not have access to the traditional banking system and those who are not satisfied with the constant interference of the traditional banks in their personal lives when it comes to finance.

Cryptocurrencies will allow them full control over their assets without the need for third parties' validation. All they need is just a secured wallet and a private key. With this, their privacy is guaranteed,  they can carryout stress free transactions with people all over the world without facing currency barriers. They are fully in control. Having a better alternative to FIAT and the traditional banking system is a huge benefit.

We have seen so many topics about investing in crypto though. So I will say that it is similar to other assets like stocks. But there are a lot of differences as well, specially like for example, Bitcoin itself was design differently by Satoshi and we have bull run and bear market. So that is one important thing that a newbie should learn. Meaning it will take a lot of mental toughness so stay in this market and to make profit as it will take at least 4 years to accumulate and be a long term holder and wait for the right time to sell.

In short, look at the bigger picture, during:

a. bear market - we should all accumulate
b. bull market - wait for the right time to sell

cryptocurrency is the new technology and in this world if we want to succeed we need to keep up with recent developments the next generation will be using cryptocurrency and we wouldn’t want to be left behind aside from this it’s profitable in both short term and long term a lot of people are treating cryptocurrency as a retirement plan and honestly that is a very wise move especially with bitcoin as it can fight against inflation making your money grow over time

And if someone decide to buy altcoin, they have opportunity to grow their investment further by performing staking and even re-staking. Although IMO today's restaking feels very risky, due to lack of detail and being new option.

1. High potential returns - we know how volatile the cryptocurrency market is, hence, there are many people that are suggesting investing into this type of asset. Of course, proper knowledge is still need. The crypto market can give high returns depending on the coin that you're investing with.
2. Diversification - the more diversified you are, the lesser the risk you're carrying with your overall portfolio. Adding some cryptocurrencies with your portfolio would help you lessen the risks.

The only benefit of any kind of investment is returns but one should not really invest on crypto because of returns, we have perks beyond that like decentralisation, transparency, ease of transfer to anyone anywhere, no hidden fees, no censorship, you get to have complete custody of your money and the list goes on...

I see one benefit of crypto of investment in general and that is nothing but the profit. However, if you look beyond profit, you can look at the utility aspect. There are some places where crypto are been accepted as settlement of debt, if you have the crypto been accepted there, you can use it to buy whatever you want instead of using fiat.

You can use crypto to gamble, there many crypto casino that allow people to deposit crypto so they can gamble comfortably without having to worry about using fiat to gamble or maybe if there region isn't supported for making deposit for other options.

Before investing in crypto, I had never invested in stocks, and crypto was the first market that introduced me to the digitalized financial market. I can trade 24/7, I focus on learning how the economy operates, understand the value of BTC and escape deceptions about inflation, public debt, and money on internet.

Investing in crypto also brings me a bit of joy in life: I have made more friends, I get to share my views with others, and discuss with hundreds or thousands of crypto enthusiasts worldwide. Equally important, I have made a small profit from crypto ^^

You are right, this is one of the challenges bitcoiners who do not have access to traditional banking system face when they try to be their own bank. The few options available charge either very high fees or lead the bitcoiner to scammers who try to take advantage of them.
