This is my first time to hear on Satodime Card and based on the details they are spewing am sure there can be a good market for this option. I am sure that many people would love to deal with Bitcoin with less complicated letters and numbers most especially seniors and even just common guys out there...and one reason cash is still attractive for them. I am just curious that since this is based on the concept of bearer ownership, just like fiat money, this can be subjected to snatching or robbery, so what are the possible safeguards that this platform can be offering?

A truly revolutionary idea, this card could make exchanging Bitcoin as easy as exchanging paper money without the complications or waiting for transactions, blockchain confirmations and fees.

But through the explanation in the video I noticed that the card is linked to a mobile application, here a question comes to my mind, is this safe? I mean what guarantees are there that the application does not store sensitive card data and send it to the company or a third party?

i also have the same questions

as op said we do not need internet to use the card so this means that i do not need my mobile phone with me at all times to use the card? what will be the confirmation that it is indeed me trying to make a transaction and not other people? i may have missed a few details from the video i might rewatch it closely and research more as well once a free time opens up for me but these are just my immediate questions

It is safe to use it, and you only need app when you are activating card, so you can have address to send Bitcoin.
App is open source and code canbe inspected in github, but there is nothing important stored on it, everything is kept on the card itself.
After you finish this you can give card to someone else aka give him bitcoin without making transaction or connecting to the internet.

Really is that possible to send some BTC without accessing the internet this is something totally new to me I even read the site and everything but wants to know how could that work. And in their FAQs they mentioned it is not a debit card or credit card instead they made it in a chip which is able to create this debit card looking card the ability of hardware wallet.

So in other terms, they just created a hardware wallet with NFC in it, and to manage it we need any NFC card reader and to initialize the NFC hardware wallet, we need their apps and have to configure things there.

Satodime Card is similar like we are using cash paper bills, but with Satodime you can set diffeernt amount of bitcoin sats (or any other supported coins).

I have this feeling that this is going to be the card of the future; this is something we will eventually need in the future, an internetless transaction card. this card is worth exploring I hope they get good reviews and they fix any bugs or security flaws because we could need this in a place where there is no internet connection. And what I like most about the card is that it's open-sourced, I hope to see positive reviews of this card.

Because I didn't buy it.

In the description on our website Satodime supports many cryptocurrencies including Ethereum and its tokens, have they all been added a lot?

What I mean is where does Satodime support many ETH networks like L2?
BSC is also not mentioned there, is it only Ethereum network?

Oh so that's what you mean, well I don't know about others but your statements did not give the idea that we have to handover the card, I mean, the card itself costs and the website did not mentioned that we have to hand over the card to other party, as I just read a line that handing over BTC like cash was never easy, and I thought we have to pay with BTC via cards while they meant (according to you) we can fill, card with BTC and can hand it over to someone else.

Well, if that's the case then card itself costs 25 euro right, what's the point in handing over the $25 euro card if I just want to hand over 100 or 50 dollars worth of BTC. So, that mean only big transactions will be made via these cards, and the card can be controlled by the App right? Does that make it safe for the the recipient to receive BTC in card or what? TBH I did not get their whole idea maybe they just useful to give BTC as GIFT to someone as we can't really make trade/dealings with this card.

Satochip is compatible with forked Electrum wallet, but their android app is needed in some cases, especially with Satodime card.
Good thing that all their siftware is open source, so it can be checked and verified by anyone.

I don't think everyone is going to need cards like this all the time, but there are times they can be useful.

Yeah, I worked with Satochip in that project, but they have several different cards with different use cases.

well it is still relatively new and there is still more time for development and innovation this alone is a great step for the community and the industry cryptocurrency has caused such a massive shift in the world and now this could cause a whole bigger shift that we are yet about to see

Well, forked Electrum wallet + Android app it doesn't seem like a good idea for long-term hold.

You have seed words on stainless steel for that, and no hardware wallet will survive long term for one reason or another.
We are talking about physical bitcoin with Satodime card here, so you don't even need any software in most cases.
