With the current trend of the crypto market, it is obvious that BTC is the principal token experiencing a bull run, rising in price and breaking ATH for the past few weeks.
Though some ALTS are also proving a positive strength in terms of price growth as the bull season is still on.

Now, we talk about the ALTS season, a period where Altcoins experience their individual rising in price undermining the effect of BTC. And most users predict that this season is likely to approach anytime soon..
A little question I have about the Altcoins season is this....

"Do all ALTS experience a significant rise in price during this season"?.

The Crypto market is a large marketplace possessing roughly over 20,000 Cryptocurrencies, (this is just an estimate). Is it all these assets that experience the ALTS season or just the Top ALTS are the determinants of this season.

The plain answer is that MANY altcoins will rise during its own bull run season but NOT ALL as there are those which are inherently valueless and may not be able to capitalize on the rising tide. As in anything, there will always be exemption to the rule. Personally, I would say that there is already altcoin season when most of them in the top 20 of the CMC are experiencing good level of growth in terms of price. I am looking forward to that too but for now it is still Bitcoin and to some extent some altcoins that are taking the focus...we have to wait but for sure it is really coming just like Santa Claus riding with his reindeer and delivering you some gifts via the chimney so make sure your chimney is wide enough for him...

Nope. Not all ALTS rise in price, even in alt seasons. As you may know, there are some centralized alt tokens, and their devs can make any changes when needed. Before the alt season starts, you will see a lot of new tokens pop up, but nobody knows what had in their mind. I hope people remember what Terra Luna did to their investors.

They increased their supply and sold the tokens on the market, and the tokens lost their value. I was one of them who lost some dollars as well. Some developers will wait for the alt seasons, and they may do the same thing that Terra Luna devs did. Only tokens with big potential will give returns.

Yes, but it's a bit late compared to Bitcoin,
I mean is that Bitcoin's price went up already, but most of the altcoins haven't yet. It's because the altcoin season comes weeks after the price of Bitcoin goes up.

I've seen a tweet on X that the altcoin season might happen at around December-January. Of course, that's just a prediction only and we don't really know when it can happen. As for the 20,000 cryptocurrencies that you're saying. Not all of them will go up in price during the altcoin season. Most of the top 100 will experience it, and as you go lower, the fewer the coins that will pump up during the altcoin season.

Most of the top 100 altcoins might not even surpass their previous ATH as well because of lack of support from the community. Just wait, and it will happen.

Well first and foremost the charts speak for them selves the idea of an altcoin bull is a little bit naive if you ask me because the chances of altcoins pumping generally leaving only bitcoin behind would be quite impossible. If you check, crypto currency markets are based on their equivalent market cap most of the time and bitcoin has the highest market cap therefore its price movement is to an extent felt by the whole crypto market.

One of the biggest altcoin season I've ever experienced is the season that happened recently and seems to be fading away gradually though. Literally every coin on the market pumped alongside bitcoin.

Usually there is an alt season after bitcoin prices estabilizes near a new ATH. Money flows from bitcoin to other projects with lower marketcap and we see exponential gains in small projects.

The point is that in the end most projects do not succeed. Only a few of them really become profitable, and you need to sell at the right time.

At the moment if the goal is to find coins that have the potential to explode i would think of some altcoins outside of the top 100. Because there are many good altcoins that have been trying to explode for years. As bitcoin prices continue to record highs so many older altcoins are preparing to explode in price. Moreover, institutional adoption of Bitcoin is also on the rise with both corporations and hedge funds all getting into bitcoin. With such a bright future for bitcoin, many altcoins will push the pump line. But it is not easy to predict the future of any currency. So in such situations you should only invest in fundamentally strong currencies.

Some say Altcoin supercycle is coming and I don't know how they come up with that speculation but yeah anything can happen or maybe it won't. The only question here is that are we prepared enough when that will happen? Have we filled our bags already with Altcoins of choice? Well, I personally have few and I don't really know if things will go on my favor or not but hopefully it will.

Some say Altcoin supercycle is coming and I don't know how they come up with that speculation but yeah anything can happen or maybe it won't. The only question here is that are we prepared enough when that will happen? Have we filled our bags already with Altcoins of choice? Well, I personally have few and I don't really know if things will go on my favor or not but hopefully it will.

Altcoin pump is going to happen after the rally for BTC stops a bit - and the liquidity from it would pour into alts.
Then we may see the potential in our holdings in that regard, in my opinion.

This is something natural in a highly volatile market because of the bull run; investors are motivated to buy altcoins because the price follows Bitcoin movement; its a domino effect, but not all altcoins will experience this; only altcoins with proven performance in the market and community behind it. Investors will always diversify, and in doing so, they always look for coins with usecase and proven track records.

The movement in the crypto market that comes after the big current like the bull run often makes an urge for us to find the next thing. The leading asset is, as a rule, bitcoin and it is accompanied by several other coins that do possess sufficient value. But that does not necessarily mean all altcoins can mimic this performance, hence, emphasis has to be made on the performance as well as the level of trust embodied in a certain project.

They emphasise that the decision of using diversification as one of the methods of managing investments is still important for us, but, at the same time, the choice of such assets must be made proceeding from the real value to be received in its result.
