buy coins when the price drops according to you and do not buy when the price is rising, if someone buys ETH when the price drops and then the price drops further, it is better to hold on until the price goes up if it is profitable for you. Investing in ETH in the long term seems like a good idea because the risk is small, just like bitcoin, but I think it depends on a person if he is smart in managing his assets so that he has a strategy and target to get daily profits, both short term and vice versa.
I don't think an investor/HODLer can manover daily profits in anyway be it Short Term or Long term... Profits are being reaped by the end of the period of Holding.
It takes only traders to be able to scalp out daily profits in regards to their trades.
On the other hand, a trader wouldn't have to wait for a drop down in price before placing trades, this is a strategy for HODLers/Investors.
ETH to me, I see a bright future ahead, I have some of these assets on HODL and with time, I perceive it would touch a new ATH and the HODLers of this asset will see a reason to smile.
A holder can manage medium and long term profits by holding potential coins and selling them according to the expected target. If you want to get daily profits, you should trade. So there must be a distinction between holders and traders because traders can manage daily profits with financial management. While holders only buy and hold them according to their targets,
long term investing is the goal in crypto in my opinion so holding coins for a certain period of time I think is reasonable and I personally invest long term by collecting profits from my short term trading results, and when I experience losses with coins that are held due to price drops I will stop trading on those coins, and I will likely add new capital to trade on other coins
By doing daily trading we can get daily profits, if we have knowledge and experience in trading. from that profit we buy coins that we will hold for the long term. that's what I always do in investing in crypto.
so I think we can do it, as traders and also as holders.
Maybe many only choose to be holders because they don't have experience in trading and vice versa there are those who focus more on trading because they feel that trading is easier to get consistent profits, I think it all depends on your ability and comfort in investing.
