if compared between bitcoin and ethereum for long term investment, I would prefer bitcoin because bitcoin is safer. While ethereum in my opinion the price movement is not good at this time because when bitcoin has reached a high ATH at $ 99K the price of ethereum is still below $ 4K.
This is just my consideration if I have to choose a potential altcoin, I would prefer solana and BNB over ethereum.

There is no doubt that if someone invests in Bitcoin from Ethereum and Bitcoin for the long-term, then it will definitely be safer, but sometimes we want to diversify our funds, in that case, if someone chooses Ethereum coin from altcoins, then I think it will not be bad. Should we invest long term??

Ethereum should not be a hot topic right now because it is still disappointing people. See how the market has been since some weeks ago. Ethereum has been underperforming. At least, let ethereum make it to all-time high. Its all-time high was almost $4900 but it is still at $3125. A coin that do not get to all-time high is not good to hold in long term.

Wait for BTC dom to fall off and look at SOL and ETH again - I think you won't be disappointed.
For now, all eyes are on BTC still.

All cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin has it own marketing strategies of the coins accumulating values resting assurance of it holders to make profits which Bitcoin had break so many ATH within a circle that has not been of it bull-run yet.

Bitcoin is still the best, but if I have to choose an altcoin I agree with you that ethereum is the best choice for investment, because there are still many investors who hold ethereum and this coin is still in demand as evidenced by the price of ethereum which has improved to nearly $4k.

The truth is that  etherum for me is part of the coins i see following the trail bitcoin had made in the cryptospace.Now,at this moment,it might not be its season atp,but i guess that's quite normal with crylyo currencies right? Cause prices basically fluctuates and bitcoin does that too right?so why the back lash?
If i'm to advise about making investments on etherum,i'd say buy as much as yku can anf Hodl,i huess thats what a wise investor would do.

I agree, most good decisions take time to to happen. This is what the others don't understand when all they want is to keep on looking for quick profits. That can happen but it won't be for the most because this is how the market works. So, if you've just invested, do not assume quick profits if you are not trading.
