If you can't control your emotions, you will continue to lose because you can't think clearly anymore and that's what gamblers fear.

But there are alternative solutions, as I said before: if a person focuses on gambling only with the money they can afford to lose, they can achieve it, and they Obviously have a lot of discipline to achieve their goals; otherwise, it's very difficult.

When I was gambling, I had to do whatever it took to avoid losing my money through emotions and impulses. I used to say I was going to control it , but no, nothing like that So the Moment I discovered it was better to control money before Anything else , I Started to move Toward the good.

Of course that's what should be done, and actually we should also remember this if we also sometimes gamble, because it could come to us.

Uncontrolled emotions will make us forget everything and maybe we will realize when we see our money is really gone and there is nothing left. Emotions are one of the main causes of someone becoming addicted.

I agree that emotion can lead to addiction, but it depends on the gambler. Everything, whether positive or negative, is determined by the gambler's approach to gambling.

Any gambler who is too desperate for a win is likely to have gambling problems as a result of their desire to win and make money, which, in my opinion, is not the best way forward as a gambler.
There are numerous works that depict, let it be people stuck in gambling depending not only on money but the feeling they cannot control. This is because when a people wants to win to the extent that they want to win the whole amount they are willing to play games even when the odds do not favour them. Other themes specific to the gameplay described in the text include temptation and obsession with victory as a sign of becoming invulnerable. That is right, where gambling is concerned, it is always important not to rely too much on hope, you will surely get a raw deal in the long run. If the emotions are uncontrollable then it can turn out that instead of entertainment gambling becomes something that is much harder to manage.

If we are not ready for defeat, then we should just leave gambling, because it will be dangerous for us. Because with conditions like that, we will not be able to control ourselves so that our gambling becomes excessive.

Gambling is indeed for everyone, but everyone in question is someone who is ready for all the risks that exist, not someone who becomes emotional after experiencing defeat.
Honestly, some gamblers are only expectant for the wins alone, failing to acknowledge the fact that gambling is two sided thing that involves both winning and losing and expecting only to win would first of all feel the highest level of disappointment and frustration, which could potentially affect and mess up your emotions and lead to impaired judgment.
It is not impossible. What you said is indeed the most expected of every gambler. He does not want to lose but wants to win continuously and that is impossible to happen.
Of course, most win once, like erasing the losses that occurred maybe several times and feel that it is definitely profitable and that is a natural thing to happen, and we cannot avoid it.

Well, it’s true to some people, it’s evitable to avoid and to some it’s not but all the same, we just have to gamble with what we can afford to lose,  or stay away from gambling when we know we can’t withstand the pressure of losing, to avoid being frustrated or disappointed which may still result one to keep playing and losing more money because they want to recover the other losses. So the best thing to is just to abstain from gambling when you know it’s not favourable on your side.

Yes, It is crucial always to take measures to ensure one does not and cannot gamble irresponsibly. If one could see that gambling has slowly become a problem by the money that is spent or the feelings expressed, then it is for the best not to continue. It is potentially more damaging especially if we begin to feel pressure to recover loss or to grow tier level of frustration on being defeated. Every person has his or her measure and when one feels they have reached the extreme then the best thing to do is to take a step backward. Gaming pause or even gambling cessation is one of the approaches to keep ourselves healthy in the long run.

Controlling money is one thing that is very difficult in my opinion compared to controlling emotions, where no matter how much money we have, it will still run out, not only for gambling, money can make us lose control wherever we are, especially if we are in a supermarket or mall.

All are given to be able to control well everything that will be done, like you, who may not be able to control finances compared to emotions, but some may be the opposite.
Financials can indeed be prevented from running out quickly by being able to control yourself that there are limits that must be done and not all must be used for one purpose only but are determined for other purposes. All are ultimately returned to the individual.

due to online shopping these days you can lose control even when you are at home people can end up spending so much money just from shopping from home and never stepping foot outside their home

money will only go back to you if you carefully pick the places you will spend your money on

you need to make sure that most of the things you spend on are actually important and can be beneficial to you

What a people dominate in life is the habits, experience and perceptions that a people build up in life. It is normal that people cannot deal with all sides of their life to the same extent. Some provide more aptitude in meSPAM BANble aspects; others are outstanding in managing something tangible although not tangible and considerably influential. This has nothing to do with lack of something or its abundance, but rather a way a person perceives and attends to his body. For something to be under one’s control, then there should be limitations placed in the same to avoid straying to the next level. Increased consciousness of these boundaries provides a person with the ability to improve the quality of decisions without having to fall into a trap or get into situations that one does not want to be in at that time. And it all goes back to where a person navigates oneself full well towards the right actions.

Emotions are something humans have not control over, but we do have control over is our actions, the actions we decide to take during certain feelings or emotions is what remains within the human control.

In gambling for instance whether you do it for fun or otherwise, no one would be happy while losing even when the losses doesn’t have any severe financial impact or consequences, and at the same no would be sad while winning in gambling, these are emotions that comes with certain sense of fulfillment. Knowing when to take a break from gambling is never about emotion imo, it’s about consciousness and taking actions, even people while winning do take breaks in order not to get addicted.

People express their inner views through the expression of emotions and it can happen negatively as well as positively. Emotions are an important element in every aspect of life and people make important decisions guided by emotions, but the effectiveness of the decisions depends on how perfect they were.

By controlling emotions in gambling gamblers who can maintain their self-control and the possibility of becoming addicted to them can be greatly reduced. Gambling and entertainment by positive emotions.

What is your opinion?

First of, if we should trace the origin and what gambling was actually invented for, we will find out that gambling was actually for entertainment purposes though in the present time people actually gamble for the money which is not really bad if one can control the emotions thats involved and also be very disciplined not to be addicted, addiction has ruined many life and that's why it's been condemned to its fullest, am not against anyone gambling for the purposes of winning and getting profit but am against anything that will lead to excessive gambling, if a gambler can be in control of how he or she gambles then there wouldn't be any problem at all, where issues comes in is when individual gambler gambles without any form of safe control, in conclusion I believe gambling is not for everyone because some people easily get stucked in things they do so it is better for this same individuals to stay out of it to avoid going uncontrollable.

Well said! Gambling plays on our emotions. Any outcome elicits some sort of emotion. However, it is better to win and get good energy than to lose and get our emotions so drained. A gambler who loses is disorganized, especially if the gambler hopes to solve an emergency problem through gambling.

Even when we gamble with an amount we can afford to lose, it is difficult to let go because when you add up all of the amounts used for gambling that were thought to be an amount that could be afforded to lose, a gambler will realize that he is losing a lot.

Re: Gambling and Emotions !

Gambling intertwines with emotions, this is seen when someone expresses joy when he/she wins, and when there is sadness and anger after losses.  Apart from this there are other emotions too like stress, regrets, pains, guilt, which so many gamblers feel at some point even though it may only be for a brief moment. This feelings tends to build up little by little, and before you know it it begins to manifest in one's character. For example one begins to frown or shout or even get so infuriated at the slightest mistake of someone. This simply are the effects of the gambling. For what is worth gambling isn't just about the money, it is simply about how it makes one feel.

I suppose that no feeling is produced without a cause, especially if this feeling has been appears in person during long time. dating is never easy, even the simplest of moods may be complex on the inside. People can faintly stress or become sensitive once again to quickly reveal that something in them is still boiling. Sometimes, it's not about today's events, but about things that are not finished from the past. I understand what you mean by that because there are several circumstances that make a person become out of control intentionally or otherwise. It does not consider things are done as result of what has happened, but about how a certain thing that is constantly done wears away the serenity or patience to a certain extent.

Nobody can take away the emotion that comes with gambling. What a gambler can do is minimize his reaction to his game, which is easier when he gambles only a small portion of his income. This is the only thing that can help a gambler deal with his emotions.

Emotional outbursts can be extremely damaging to gamblers. It will distort his focus and analytic skills, causing him to lose more because his decisions will be influenced by his emotions rather than his research and mental reasoning.
