Before now, there were many Dapps Solana because if I could remember, Solana was one project that got heavy funding, so many developers were there and they were reeking thousands and millions in grants but the collapse of the ecosystem kills the trust. Check Raydium and Serium, that was the beginning of the collapse of Dapps on solana.

Maybe in the future, there will be more and they will be able to win back some developers but truly, an average guy on Solana want to make money from meme coins rather see Dapps like in the past on solana network

The rate of progress of different projects on the blockchain depends on many factors including liquidity. For a particular coin or token the crypto space to have enough liquidity it's also needs to have a good adoption rate which can be relatable to their investors. The bigger the volume of investment on a particular currency the better its price and adoption appreciates.

Although of carried out a couple of transactions on the solana blockchain though there are few I haven't really compared the speed of Solana transactions to other networks. However I think drop in adoption is as a result of drop in hype too.

I still remember the vibrant period of Sol with many big trends like DeFi, NFT, and GameFi in 2021, but unfortunately, that couldn't be repeated. Currently, Sol is only famous for Sagaphone and memecoins, besides that, we don't see large capital flows into Sol or other potential projects in the ecosystem.

This will threaten Sol's future because every blockchain needs to build a vibrant ecosystem. If the ecosystem only exists depending on memecoins, Sol will not be able to compete in the race for blockchain adoption in the future.

Solana has always been one of the most beloved blockchains and is sought after by both developers and users. Currently, there is a trend among developers to create fewer high-quality Dapps. They might try their hand at simple memecoins based on community preferences instead of investing intellectual effort into a significant Dapp.

I hope we will soon have more good Dapps for users to experience and provide feedback on new projects. Solana cannot survive on just memecoins or RWAs. It was created to serve the big community games with a speed of 65k tps.

Solana users are now focusing a lot on memecoins alone and that is very evident with the emergence of hundreds of thousands of memecoins every day non-stop. Solana Dapps may only be a few that continue to be actively used such as Pump.fun, Raydium, Jup, etc. and other Dapps are just complements.

Solana is not the only blockchain out there that processes transactions fast, there are actually a lot of others that are very fast too, if not even faster than Solana, example is Sui network.

I recently had the opportunity of transacting on Sui network and I must say that that blockchain is damn fast, and if I am to say which is the fastest, I would happily choose sui network over Solana.

There are other blockchains too that are coming up, example is Renec blockchain (Remitano network), a blockchain built on top of Solana, also just as fast as Solana is.

The nutshell is that, there is a great competition in the blockchain industry at the moment, and some competitors have won over; some potential Solana projects to themselves.

I also believe that you also create an excellent comment in your post. So i am personally agree with your comment. We also know that solana is one of the best profitable crypto in cryptocurrency market. I think that gradually it’s price must be increase in cryptocurrency market. Because we saw that bitcoin price is running on rapid action in cryptocurrency market. So it also be best opportunity for increase solana price. Because we believe that when bitcoin price will increase, then others crypto market also be high level.

Ethereum is the ecossystem with more developers. SOlana is relatively new. Its blockchain was down a few times in the past, making it not so reliable, and they also suffered a lot with FTX fall.

Developers won't easily migrate to solana, as there are other EVM (ethereum virtual machine) projects, like BSC, where they can also deploy the same apps.

Solana needs more time to prove itself, for now it is basically only the house of memecoins

SOLANA is a very strong blockchain and they are very serial with their chain projects which is why they do not support all types of projects.  For example, despite Tapswap's huge community growth, they unofficially promote themselves as SOLANA, but when it came to their attention, they officially announced that they don't officially support Tapswap.  Many such projects wanted to work for Solana but SOL did not officially support them due to which many companies wanted to launch Dapps or SOL Dex but could not launch

I hope Solana can improve this by focusing on and encouraging other major trends in the ecosystem like DeFi, DePIN, NFT, RWA, GameFi, SocialFi, MoveFi... because memecoins have never been a sustainable trend for an ecosystem. It can attract users and capital flow but it's very difficult to help an entire ecosystem become more valuable.

We still have a lot of time for the bullrun and I believe many Dapps will return to Solana to take advantage of the power from this fast blockchain. The huge user base on Solana is a target that every #DevelopmentTeam  wants to reach ^^
