I was one of those who said bitcoin would hit 100k, but I didn't say it would happen anytime before the end of the year or after the end of the year, and now I see this.

I can't quite understand what you're saying about betting on the price, are we betting with other people? or trading? or something else. Regardless, we should all be very happy with what we're seeing right now.

I have bet on bitcoin price before on some gambling site. I just used it to know how it is. It was not more than 10 seconds for it which makes it to be more like gambling but it is on gambling sites. Unlike the binary option that I have seen before that make use of fiat which you can adjust the time direction.

I prefer to just go for spot trading instead. I visit casinos for another thing which are roulette and slots.

I predicted that Bitcoin will eventually hit $100k in last quarter of this year or early 2025, but I never bet on the price because none of my friends want to bet against it because they know that Bitcoin is doing great, especially with the announcement of Trump's support on Bitcoin so $100k is very realistic When one of the most powerful man on the planet supports Bitcoin, the price could only go up.

Everybody had been expecting BTC to o be 100k since 2021 but it' just happened today so eventually its here. It took time to bet on this price to happen.

But if what you mean binary trading, there is no good platform for this anymore and we can't bet for price to happen in a 4 year time frame. There used to be a good platform for binary trading but they only offer price betting in a time frame less than a minute.

I don't like to bet on bitcoin price movement because it's hard to predict, the last time I did that, my predictions was wrong. Imagine 100k milestone was achieved yesterday, who would have known this. Binary trade is similar to gambling, and I will prefer to bet on sportbet rather than this, because I enjoy the fun in watching the game.

If you look at the price and market movement of a few months ago, it must be said that at that time we could not have imagined the price of Bitcoin at this time. Most people think that bitcoin price will increase, but the time is not this year, it will be in 2025. Although some said that its price would increase by the end of this year, they could not have predicted that it would be able to establish a new ATH soon, but it was also estimated in the middle of next year. I made a prediction a few days ago that was close to that. But I certainly could not have imagined that Bitcoin would touch 100k so quickly.

First of all I want to say that gambling and the Crypto trading are not the same thing whatever say people about this. About the Bitcoin price it has crossed the 100K currently for example if I say that have you know that the vegetable price suppose the tomato price in your country the current price have you ever thought that it would be in this range? And about the prediction yes people can also predict on tomato price on the supply on the demand that how will be the price of tomato in the future. But no one can guaranteed that the exact price of tomato.
So this is something like this I hope you can understand this, in the real market how we buy and sell kind of similar here but the volatility of that assets is much more than the real markets things.

how does this affect your betting behavior if a market is doing really well? do you gamble more or less?
Betting behaviour will be affected in two different ways:

You can have people who gamble less because they are trying to save up more knowing that the value of bitcoin is on the increase, while other gamblers are trying to make more money during this period by winning a bet, hence they are gambling more. Betting behavior generally during this period will be determined by the amount of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency that you have.

Crpto is similar to gambling in that the growth of a coin cannot always be predicted; however, if an investor chooses to be patient, he will see the coin's growth in the long run as long as it is promising. There are some coins that appear promising, and with patience, investors can profit.

This differs from gambling, which has an instant outcome. You know the outcome of your stake a few hours later, and that is it. There is no room for patience because the results are not reversed. So, no matter how long you wait, decisions are irreversible.

I can't quite understand what you're saying about betting on the price, are we betting with other people? or trading? or something else. Regardless, we should all be very happy with what we're seeing right now.
i am talking about betting with other people sorry for the confusion

there are many gambling events where they try and predict the price of bitcoin at a certain time and date and the closest one wins i am seeing that many did not expect bitcoin to reach $100k yesterday of course we all knew it would happen but when it would happen was the question so i was curious if anyone actually got it correct yesterday

Initially I was involving myself with cryptocurrency price prediction and at the game & round sections though my prediction didn't come out as exactly the price at the CMC, but is either 100$ away or before the actual price. Those who are are close to the price by either 2$-10 precisely usually hit up the winning this does not mean I predicted is not correct but it's just about time frame from the market is different.
So, price prediction is actually good to be included in most gambling/betting site to attract more real time traders to also explore trading through gambling site in form of trading.

Oh if that's the case, then I don't do it, predicting maybe yes, but not to the point of betting as you mean.

I also think no one can predict accurately in terms of time, predicting broadly about prices, many do. However, to be more specific about time I think there is none. because it is not easy to predict specifically about time like that.

Are you talking about those contests done by casinos or other businesses on the forums? When you mention gambling events I assumed we need to pay to place the bet, while most contests don't require these things. I guess the recent bull run made most casinos run this promotion since the possibility of Bitcoin hitting $100k is higher than ever. I tried to participate in one of those contests but never managed to win. Guess my luck just suck.

Crypto trading is almost alike gambling because money is involved but the thing is in trading we use technical analysis and fundamentals therefore luck is just a bonus in crypto trading especially when you're dealing with futures trading where you are going to predict which trend the specific crypto is heading while in gambling for me it's purely luck. Though I am not yet into live trading but I am right with my predictions though that's really hard for me because I didn't have the capital so yeah I am happy for those who take their profit at the new ATH.
