From my own research I made concerning the NATO they are intergovernmental organizations made up of 32 countries with 30 European countries and 2 North America countries and they are members that protect each other against any forms of threat, then I went further to research the list of these 32 countries but neither found the Russians nor the Ukrainians in the list so why did I go this far in research cause I wanted to know why NATO would be supplying support with countries fighting war and they are European countries and as a result of it suffering financially and militarily in cause of their support. So why can't they just make a decision to call these two countries and settle their dispute at once or are they encouraging the war?

If Russia uses nuclear weapons, the destruction would be massive, with many lives lost and areas made unlivable. It could cause global panic, economic collapse, and possibly more wars. The environment would also suffer greatly. I hope this never happens, as it would harm everyone with no real winners.
