You're not wrong at all, I've come to realize that the actual reason why most people end up being victimised by scammers and hackers are mostly traced to greed, some people become so greedy that they end up setting unrealistic expectations from investing in shit projects. Yes, it's true that there are projects that offers a very high potential but these type of projects rarely comes into the market.
That's why it is always very risky to get involved in such projects, regardless of the amount of profit promised. Just like you rightly said, consistently and patiently accumulating Bitcoin, no matter how small and maintaining a long-term perspective gives the investor an upper hand and security.
