By your definition of investor, it is someone that holds the asset and sit for some time right? If so, I think the mentality is almost the same across different markets. It's only the hardcore traders that will stick to their monitors even on holidays. Maybe some investor would also take advantage of the market 'discounts' but I doubt most does that.

I expect dump on end of year holidays as I expect people to sell their holdings during this time around to take money off market and spend it for holidays.

I am not really into festivities a much, so I stick to my usual routine and do nothing new.

We also know that holiday will be very prefer for some people, because I think that it will be very helpful for his working. I think that some person remain in the holidays he could done his online work. In this time he could be learn more about in crypto currency market, so that easily he could understand in cryptocurrency market. I am also agree in this issues. Christmas time is actually the time to relax, though it is peculiar with holders and investors to leave the market and enjoy with their families. I am still trading, looking for better opportunities to add to my portfolio, even as a trader, i have considered the Xmas time as the period to take a short positions and close my positions within the day.
Generally, i think this year has been wonderful, Bitcoin market has been doing great and breaking records; hopefully, better days are coming as we enter into 2025.

Investing and trading is self employment and all the traders out their are self employed they don't work for anyone but for themsleves and they chose this as their work because they love it and they will certainly spend time in market not the same as they spend before but they will give sometime to market too.

Chaning approach and looking at trades and market's current situation is normal many traders even cover there 2 day tasks earlier like if this happened then what should be my plan. Planning like this can save them spending time during the holidays on screen and they can spend that time with their family.

I never took records of this because usually during holidays like this bitcoin price usually surge, and I have also been thinking about the cause and the secret why price usually increased even on holidays. Yes of course, as we know when the forex market closes people tends to focused more on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, but then their attention do diverted to other altcoin because same time we also see them increasing but more, attention are put into bitcoin that is why we see bitcoin perform more other altcoin.

During the holidays, an investor can monitor the status of his assets very well. He can be busy with a trade when he takes it, but when he takes that trade on another day, he will not get that opportunity. That is why people's attention to trading is more during the holidays. I will agree with you that on the days when the Forex market is closed, i.e. during the holidays, there will be many investors who will trade to make profits from crypto. But there is no guarantee that the market will always move at the same level.

On any occasion, whether it's Christmas or Eid If I am in trades, I am always going to give my time to setups and maybe look for new opportunities whenever I will have time, and most of the times we have that time in night, and on holidays, many wakeup late, so at night a trader can do all his analysis for the trades and find new tokens as well.

Although trading doesn't really need that much time, only the analysis needs hehe. The overall mindset of the investor should be a target to achieve if he has achieved that, then look for another target where you can use that profit to make more profit. I mostly tend to relax and spend time with my family and friends and not worry about the market, but on other days the spirit is a bit higher.

Op was asking about the approach not if we take risk or not and what will be the results if we take risk and if we don't take risks. We always had two options in front of us lose and profit there is nothing like playing around. On holidays if a person gives first priority to the trades and takes risk because he finds a good trade then that will be temporary but the first priority should be family if any.

A trader should never leave any opportunity even if its on the day of marriage. Opportunities is all we can get from the market and this time market dumped and alts bled and gave opportunities to all of us to buy before the party and we don't have to look for any opportunities now because we are making profit now.

If you decide to trade and have a lot of time to do it, you can focus on trading. I also spend more time with my family and watch the market in between if I see a positive trend I will trade. Doing analysis takes time and focus because I am not very skilled in making analysis and am still learning.
