Indeed, saving for the future should be considered as a very good and necessary step for everyone. But then again, there are people who actually have financial backups, like the emergency funds and other backup funds but still can’t help but to spend extravagantly without proper budgeting, recording or taking note of their spending habit, which may in multiple time result to spending on irrelevancies without even knowing it.

Yeah but despite the situation I still can see people doing overspending because they showed it all on social media wherein in they spend on something unimportant you know just "wants" not the "need" thing they even look and live great on socmed. Like for example they showed parcels of things delivered by a courier and they do unboxing also and based on my observation they don't really need it and then the sad part is that you can hear directly from them that they are going to borrow money from you because they have something to pay or buy.

Yeah I agree with the phrase "as long as it is not a habit" it's all good because that only mean we have to consider important things especially it it really is a need not just wants. I know most optimistic and wise people only prioritize personal and family's needs so yeah acceptable.

When it is necessary to spend some amount of money, it is surely okay as long as it is urgent things. Or sometimes we have no chance in a certain situation, we must do overspending. If this happens, I think it is still acceptable. But if it becomes the habit, it will be a problem because we will face a bad issue on the financial stability. A rich guy once said that the average person in the world is not supposed to buy what he can't afford. You have money to buy a car don't mean you can actually buy that car. There are other thing that comes along with owning a car and such having just the money for a certain car in your account and using that fund to get that one car, you end up not being able to afford that car.

Instead, take that money and find something good to invest in. And when you make enough profits from it, you can buy your car and still have something in hand to cover up other expenses that comes with owning a car.

Very well said, after reading what you wrote I just laughed because I remembered a friend of mine who his desperation for a car made him to get a loan to be able to complete his money to buy a car, after buying the car he had no money left infact he called me most of the times to beg me for money to fuel the car, when he saw he couldn't keep up,  he had to sell the car. The very act of desperation blinds the eyes of most youths today making them to think only about the present without full consideration of both the present and the future. If we can consider both the future and present in every of our actions, our spending habit will be adjusted for the better.

People spending on irrelevances is not longer news, simply because they wanna impress others or they’re oppressed by others who are living a lavishing lifestyle and so in order to keep up, they also expose themselves to that kind of life.
This is the very reason why I personally avoid looking at what people are doing on social media, because 97% of what is displayed on social media is totally false and misleading, and if you act based on those informations, you could end up being misled and making wrong assumptions which of course may lead to one making a costly mistake.
