What crypto activity did you do on Christmas Day?

My previous plan, in 2023, I wanted to sell my BTC on Christmas and New Year this time... however, it turned out that the price of BTC exceeded my target selling price faster, so I sold BTC in early December 2024 (before Christmas came)...

For my current activities related to crypto since I sold my assets, I only monitor the existence of cryptocurrencies especially altcoins and prepare if ALTSEASON comes suddenly... There is still a chance for altcoins to shine, as BTCD still looks too strong, and as before, Altcoin season comes after BTC bull season, my waiting deadline should be January 2025.

What was your crypto Christmas like this year?

I did nothing on Christmas I was quite busy that day due to some of the work (self work) although crypto market was so green that day it was like a gift for all the people but unfortunately my buying was from very high that I was still making lose and another mistake was buying again when the market was green haha and now I am making more lose.

Besides this I did not made any other crypto activity and I am happy that I don't haha as my acts most of the times made me lose but I have to wait until they profits me.

As for crypto trading on Christmas day, generally, it is not a good practice to buying crypto assets when the market is green, but I think buying crypto should be at least, on the local support level irrespective of the facts it is a Christmas day.
It requires patience to wait at the support levels, and as far as i am concerned, I don't consider the holiday when buying crypto but the market trends.
However, i was off the market on the Christmas day to get the best entertainment with my family and friends.

On Christmas day I did my usual things in cryptocurrency, such as trading, working on Airdrop and Signature bounty.
This day is special for Christians, while I am a Muslim. So I still did my usual activities that day.

Spending time on the forum and scrolling through cryptocurrency news are only activities I can afford during long Christmas holiday. The amount of friend to visit and to give present, the amount of things I had to do at home and no longer be postponed can not allow to give a lot of attention to trading or analyzing. I am constantly being pulled and distracted from doing something long. So I prefer not even to try, not to be disappointed by final result.

I am glad that you spend your quality time with your family actually I don't meant to say I don't enjoy festives and spend my time on trading, I am not like that haha, as matter of fact here, I am muslim and I don't celebrate Christmas but I like it. We have our own festivals to celebrate and whenever they are here, I don't do any work even I might not give time to the forum.

I only spend my time, mostly sleeping, playing games, watching movies or eating lot of food, haha. It's great to have festivals. We all must give our quality time to ourselves if we have families then to them, and to friends. Because that's what all these festivals are about.

Speaking of buying in green, that's mistake actually I followed someone's signal and it was a mistake to buy exactly the same time he shared I am bad at following signals but I knew the accuracy of the dude as been following him for more than a month and now at last I am making profit from that trade but still did not booked as more to come yet.

You were right on new year day market is bearish as I bought some alts yesterday for short term profits but now they are short term loss hehe but I did not saw this coming because I thought otherwise that maybe on new year's first day the market would be green but let's just wait till the day it's the night now.

We must spend chill time with our loved ones and having fun can make our mind relaxed and we can even think and take decisions better. Now is the right time to do DCA in buying coins but the one mistake I made which I think I am realizing now is I bought earlier.

I understand the point you are making. But why the advice of investing in what you can afford to lose is given to people when investing in Bitcoin or altcoin, is for them not to sell their Bitcoin at a loss price when emergency issues pop up at their side.

Many investors have sold their Bitcoin out of this result because they have nothing else to trade apart from their Bitcoin holdings. Emergency issues can come to anyone at any time, it might be when Bitcoin is declining.

Business still in your minds during Xmas.

I did nothing during that day but help my family in preparation for noche Buena. We eat together every Xmas and just stay up all night updating each other with what happens to us the whole year while drinking beers.

Nothing I did relates to crypto except watch the prices of coins thru the coinmarketcap actually.

        -      On Christmas it was just a typical day, of course the routine I have been doing in crypto is just continuing where the dca is how much fund I have, that's what I use to buy even if it's just a little, what's important to me is that in a week I should be able to make a dca of crypto assets.

Some people have indeed been affected by FUD and also panic selling due to the dump market that occurred at the end of last year. Moreover, with a fairly long period and a fairly drastic decline in market prices, some people have sold their coins and experienced losses.

Although actually, if it is not urgent, we just wait and leave our portfolio. because as long as the coins are indeed potential to go up again, then the chance will be in the bullrun peak season and altcoin season. It's just that if you need income because of special days during Christmas and new years, that's a different condition, but it doesn't mean to sell everything.

Although I am late to say Merry Christmas to Mary, it seems that I have gone through this year 2024 full of unhappiness because in the real world I seem to have to be able to communicate with others, including family, neighbors or distant relatives.
The factor that makes it difficult for me to communicate face to face is because I feel that my work in this digital world is very busy so that I am not sure if I leave my room and leave my notebook to communicate with my neighbors, it seems that my work will be hampered, including work on various airdrops and this altcoinstalks forum.
