Is this a good time to stop DCA BTC and focus on DCA altcoins?

I don't like meme coins though, higher risk, so for me if I will do altcoins DCA, I will choose those in the top 10-20.

Do not on memecoin it does have a high risk and I have lost capital several times on memecoin, not to scare but in reality you will lose a lot.
DCA on top altcoins will be very good considering some narratives say the altcoin season will occur in 2025 I think this could be the case.

You choose the wrong memecoin and it will just be thrown in the trash because the devs are just farming and then doing a rug pull very quickly.
The top memecoins with a strong community are better, but of course the main portfolio should have the top altcoin fund BTC, I now have it all and try to survive in times when the market is not doing well and do DCA with the money that is left.

Picking out assets with reference to the crypto world does need extra focus so that we do not fall for investments that seemingly hold little promise. DCA is not for unstable tokens like memecoins, at least I have not seen anyone DCA PEPE or BONK. DOGE and SHIB are exceptions because they have already established their own positions in the market.

People don't make meme coins to be their main asset. That's why they never do DCA for meme coins. Also, meme coins are too risky, it doesn't deserve to buy gradually for a long run.

Those who regret missing out on BTC at the bottom and want to enter the market when BTC price is above 100K can take this opportunity to buy BTC below 100K USD, or large companies and organizations looking to diversify their portfolio can start accumulating BTC during this correction.

For an investor who has been DCA BTC since 2022 and believes in the cyclical nature of the crypto market, I don't have a strong enough reason to continue DCA BTC aggressively. I feel that this market, especially BTC, is overheated. I think altseason will be the necessary cooling off for the crypto market to avoid a sudden collapse in the first half of 2025.

Only Saylor and Mstr dare to borrow money from investors to accumulate BTC because they have a long-term strategy and are capable of enduring short-term losses. Ordinary investors should not borrow to invest in crypto even if they only buy BTC and ETH. The stress from loans and interest rates can cause them to lose their composure and be easily defeated by crypto losses.

DCA should be done rationally with assets that have real value. Top coins are safe choices for investors because their potential has been confirmed by the market. Wow, especially if it is borrowed money, I do not recommend it at all. Although there is an opportunity to make a profit, the point to always remember is that the market is not always good and there are times when we are in situations that we do not want to see.

Conservative investors or those with huge capital will only trust and invest in BTC rather than risk investing in altcoins, which is a wise move in this market. However, I believe that history will repeat itself and altseason will come, so I want to make more profit from altcoins, many investors have similar thoughts so they also start to shift to altcoins.

This year, the uptrend will take place, both BTC and altcoins will increase in price and bring profits to crypto investors. I hope I can take profit at the right time to leave the market with the biggest profit, ready to DCA BTC in 2026 & 2027
