Is this a good time to stop DCA BTC and focus on DCA altcoins?

        -     If there are fanatics in bitcoin or altcoins, I'm sure they won't stop doing Dca on assets that they want to hold for the long-term. Then there's no one here who can tell an investor to stop doing DCA on bitcoin or cryptocurrency because that's their choice.

For example, the majority of my holdings are altcoins and so far I've been doing DCA on them, and I'm pretty sure I'll make a profit on all the altcoins and meme coins I hold before this bull season ends.

I can't trust DCA altcoins because these altcoins sometimes go up thousands of percent but sometimes they also become trash coins. I'd rather DCA Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the first native coin in crypto.

Agree. It is better to do DCA on Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a safe coin. Meanwhile altcoins, they can be dead coins if we choose the wrong altcoins. It may deserve to do DCA on the top altcoins like BNB, ETH, XRP, and some top fundamental altcoins only. However, if we want to make it safe, we only focus the DCA on Bitcoin. I personally only do DCA on Bitcoin, but I started the DCA from the bearish season.

I think DCA should only be used for assets that are truly valuable and whose prices will gradually increase in the long run. Gold, real estate, and BTC are such assets, while many other tokens should not be chosen for DCA, or only DCA in 1 season.

Many traders do not like DCA, they want to control risk tightly with Take profit and Stop loss. DCA is not part of their investment strategy because if they choose the wrong token, DCA will only bring losses instead of profits.

Of course I have adopted the DCA strategy in cryptocurrency. I have always adopted the DCA method for investing in Bitcoin. I have never adopted the DCA method for investing in Altcoins. However, I think it is always better to adopt the DCA method for Bitcoin. Anyone can adopt the DCA method for investing in Bitcoin or Altcoins but always remember that using the DCA method is the best for Bitcoin. Absolutely, even if you lose value after investing in Bitcoin, there is nothing to worry because if Bitcoin does not increase for 1-2 consecutive years, we will see Bitcoin's price increase every 4 years. This confidence is not possible in the case of any other coin. We got the ATH of the top altcoin Ether in the crypto market in the last bull run, but this time in the bull run it has not yet touched the ATH but has started to decrease further in the long term. Really no one has been disappointed by doing DCA in Bitcoin and holding long term with it. Because since the birth of Bitcoin, every halving creates a new ATH.  And if the ATH can be completed in this way, no one will lose by investing in Bitcoins if he waits patiently and does not sell his Bitcoins early. If he panics and sells bitcoins after seeing the price fall, he will not be able to profit no matter how much he invests according to DCA. Altcoins are high-risk, but high risk comes with high rewards. Experienced investors can analyze market flow and adjust their DCA portfolio to gain higher returns compared to DCAing only BTC. I think now is a good time to DCA altcoins because altcoins are currently very cheap compared to BTC.

Most of my portfolio is in BTC and I have taken some profits, so I can stay completely calm and rational in the face of any market fluctuations. This is the result of my BTC DCA strategy throughout the crypto winter

Its bad ideas I think if want take investing or focus o DCA at altcoin than bitcoin have bigger opportunity to earn much profit although have raised more higher price.

To do DCA on altcoins is not the problem, the main problem is which alt do you want to even DCA and wouldn't disappoint you later in the future. I can DCA with Solana because they have an impressive season this bull run but what if next bull run they refused to move like this? What if the sol with FTX dumped on the market? So many unpredictability because altcoins are altcoins.

Look at the performance of Ethereum, that coin used to be the favorite coin of many people after Bitcoin but that coin is one or the most useless altcoins this seasons, always dumping when others are doing well. There is no right altcoin to DCA, just but the ones you can and hold till you see profit.

I understand the risks associated with focusing on altcoins, but I also believe in the cyclical nature of market flows and the existence of altseasons in this market. Currently, I'm able to purchase altcoins at quite a low price, and I'm happy about that.

The decline in altcoin prices is a gift from the market, not a punishment for investors who apply the DCA strategy. I hope that altseason will arrive by the end of this year and bring significant profits to those who believe in altcoins

BTC is volatile too, however - we know for a fact that it's not the problem for BTC to go up after a correction.
And alts, mostly, follow BTC. That's why we need to diversify, but not too much - mostly in the bigger caps and the favorites of this season.
