Is this a good time to stop DCA BTC and focus on DCA altcoins?

Just to be fair with altcoin market, this is the first time that we have seen the best of them not having a bull run when Bitcoin is making it's run. They used to be correlated, but it seems that the market has decoupled already. And so with that, the focus is still on Bitcoin right now and DCA'ing altcoin might be a bad idea for now. I still have some altcoins though, but I didn't continue to buy and hold and just switch everything in Bitcoin. Hopefully though, the altcoin market will still have it's own bull run before the end of the year. Otherwise, it will be a complete different cycle now.

What we observe is only the tip of the iceberg which had been laid down long before the graph started showing a downward trend. It cannot be argued that what is taking place at this moment could be the early preparation for something they have planned meticulously.

We are just not there yet.

There are many factors that cause the market to not react because we must know that all existing factors can give positive results, but there are also many negative results, and it depends on how the market responds to each problem including of course, as you asked.
But usually the cycle will always occur and can improve itself or get worse. It depends on the market that accepts whatever factors are the result and everything will have its time.

It is true that no one can ever guarantee the direction the Bitcoin market will take in the coming days. However, if we analyze it, we will see that there was definitely a bear trap in the market during the bull seasons.
And if we compare the current situation with them, I don't think it would be unreasonable. Because right now everyone is in panic, Bitcoin may be heading into a bear season.
Now we can't confirm whether this is a bear season movement or not, but for now I would prefer to hold instead of selling.

What do you think about LTC, though? A good pick, imo, and has lots of potential that hasn't yet been realized (regarding its value).

1. I have been applying the DCA strategy for BTC and top coins since 2023 and am still continuing to do so. The rewards from the signature campaign on AltcoinsTalks can also be considered a part of the DCA strategy, around $40 per week.

2. BTC and ALTs are two sides of the same coin: there is a bitseason, there will be an altseason, so investors can diversify their portfolios with ALTs. I have also stopped actively DCA BTC to save capital for DCA ALTs, I focus on ETH and some other top coins like ADA, DOT, AVAX, NEAR... because they are quite safe.
