I am also in the rosy mood for 2025 and my main strategy is to continually HOLD as I am out of funds already to buy more coins or tokens. We all agree that the general feeling is that next year can be a lot better than 2024 as the market continues to be excited of the possibilities of a bigger bull run to happen not just for BTC but also for many alts then we have the Trump factor which can command a lot of influence towards the direction of the market. Now, this is on the bullish side and we could never know if there will be factors that will later on derail the train, so to speak. Let's all wish for the best of 2025 but also prepared for anything bad to happen.

I agree with that but what altcoins are likely to be the one that surge which should surpass Bitcoin in terms of returns for that we need to pick the ones that's not yet big which is the problem since we have thousands of coins and nobody can predict which ones are going to the moon.

My safe strategy is accumulate as much as Bitcoin so I can say that I will make guaranteed returns on my investment.

I haven't added anything lately in terms of liquidity, I had my bags sorted even before BTC took a sharp rise. Regarding strategy, history shows alt-season happens following year after halving, so I am gonna dump by bags somewhere in middle of this year.

I expect that the first 3 months of 2025 would be the most bullish months of the year, and we know that altcoins tend to move higher than Bitcoin that's why I'm focusing most of my money right now in altcoins especially those top ones.

I've been adding some liquidity, and even though it isn't constant, that would be better than not adding at all. 2025 MIGHT be a promising year just because it's following the 4-year cycle and we've seen 2021 as a very bullish year for the crypto market, and I'm expecting that it would be the same this year. Well, not the same price movement as 2021 where we saw the market going up, then going down, then going up again to make higher ATH. In addition to this, with the big institutions coming into play, I expect things that hasn't happened in the past will happen in the crypto space.

What is my strategy? Just DCA until my target selling price reaches. Until I haven't seen what I feel is the peak of the market, I will just continue to buy, but this time, more on altcoins.

And also buy Bitcoin in DCA until the ATH is reached and maybe 2025 will be a bullish year for Bitcoin and also altcoins.

Buying altcoins is the last thing on my mind because it's like you are gambling since no one knows which of these coins will pump high and be profitable. I don't have any strategy to buy altcoins like I had with BTC, when I was investing in BTC I followed DCA strategy but in alts I did not Instead, whenver I thought some X alt is in good price range I bought it. I don't just have bought 1 alt or 2 or even 6 I bought more than 10. Bad idea I should have stick to few with more investment in them but just to be on the safe side I preferred to diversify my investment.

I hold some good alts but still alts are alts they show more lose and as of now due to buying at wrong times I am at almost $500 lose which is not that bad but I really missed some good opportunities. you won't believe how much idiotic mistakes I made, or should I call them unfortunate, I shortlisted 5 coins, bought three, and the other two pumped hehe, like one pumped 5x and the other one pumped 2x, while the three I bought are making me loss hehe.

Most investors, especially the newbie investors have this belief that the more altcoins you have in your bag, the higher your chances of hitting it big, even some experienced investors and traders still have this belief but like we already know, this isn’t always the case, because on the contrary, these investments happens to be the riskiest investment anyone can go into, because while there are potentials for huge profits overnight, there are also high chances just like you said that they are pump and dump tokens which means that your funds could disappear in a twinkle of an eye and you end up losing every single thing you’ve invested in those coins.
So the best approach would be to completely stay away from those investments because they’re unsafe.

It is not difficult to actually select few altcoins out there that are very promising, with huge potential to pump when the full altcoins season start.
Checking the Coinmarketcap index will definitely highlight some great altcoins that are worth adding to your investments portfolio before the bull run (altcoins season). Honestly, a look at the top 20 coin/tokens has already given a good market impression of these coins out there. For example, the marketcap, 24hour trading volume, community etc, are yard stick for coins/tokens selections.

The whole promises held in the new year 2025, starts from 20th January 2025, after the inauguration of President Donald Trump. His speech (with all positive expectations) will determine the bull run and the positive response in the crypto market and industry.

In preparation for the altcoins seasons, I don't have much cash to accumulate more altcoins, but the few I have acquired from the top 20 coins on the coin market cap, I will be holding for the moment after the altcoins seasons to get some profits when it comes.

Yet with all positive news and expectations ahead of the new year 2025, we should also expect things going sideways as any news (be it positive or negative) can trigger the crypto market and the price of Bitcoin as well.

I would be honest here, i am only buying more BTC's, i am not buying different other coins like people do, i would not discourage them to do it you know, the altcoins season may come and some of them will be lucky they bought one coin or the other. However i will just keep accumulating BTC, 2025 has a very positive outlook for BTC.
