I decided to create a simple monthly report at the end of each month so we can track, compare and evaluate the quality of the forum.

I hope to have everyone's contributions so we can have better reporting in the future. Thank you very much!

Thankyou for bringing another month report, there are some positives especially a huge jump in the visits hopefully the trend continues and keep growing in this year too.

We can see some changes that encourages posting as well as keep the forum free from the spam so sooner it's gonna be one of the places where people look for crypto related discussions.

Nigeria finally make the cut and 8.3% in traffic is not bad - good sign of altcoins season incoming, we're also giving to see a rise in % from Asian visitors in the coming months. Surprised to see 87.95% up in activities in December, thought we were going to see a decent  decrease in activities due to the festive season +277 new members that's massive..

We have seen an 88% increase in traffic but a 73% decrease in pages per visit, which is really strange and confusing.

Anyway, we got BTC price's ATH in December so the forum has been growing stronger. I hope we’ll have more positive metrics in Q1 2025 to confirm the FOMO in the crypto market.

If you pay close attention, the data from SimilarWeb is actually the result of statistics collected in early December or late November 2024. It does not represent the fluctuation of AltcoinsTalks forum in December, however, the market often reacts thanks to the momentum from the community, meaning we can understand and explain the fluctuation in the crypto market in December with the statistics for November from AltcoinsTalks.

We have seen impressive growth in traffic, I believe this will continue throughout 2025 when we have altseason. That will be the best time for the development of AltcoinsTalks, I even expect that AltcoinsTalks will soon have a stable traffic of 10% of BitcoinTalks traffic ^^

It does not represent the fluctuation of AltcoinsTalks forum in December, however, the market often reacts thanks to the momentum from the community, meaning we can understand and explain the fluctuation in the crypto market in December with the statistics for November from AltcoinsTalks.

We have seen impressive growth in traffic, I believe this will continue throughout 2025 when we have altseason. That will be the best time for the development of AltcoinsTalks, I even expect that AltcoinsTalks will soon have a stable traffic of 10% of BitcoinTalks traffic ^^

Without looking at statistics, one can tell that traffic/activities in the past 30 days and now are very low; the rate of discussion on my local board and on the Forum in general has dropped significantly due to a few active signature campaigns; and there have been few unstable activities since the majority of the signature campaigns ended a few months ago. We cannot dispute that signature campaigns have a significant impact on the activities here, and the more campaigns that come in, the more traffic.

The forum needs 3-4 long-term signature campaigns to attract more visitors. We currently have only two (mixero and coinimize).

Thanks for creating this summary, the stats are looking better than the last month, I think that's due to the market's sentiments; I mean when it is bullish we will have more members on both forums if I am not wrong. Overall this is motivating, and I can see the time duration spend on the pages has been reduced by half while traffic increased means the new members and the old members were visiting the forum but not spending time on reading posts.

That's understandable as well because it was a festival month and most of the members want to spend their time with their families or want to enjoy with their friends etc. That's why they did not spend that much time here instead visited the forum for small updates maybe. The time duration thing make sense and I am pretty sure the January states will be better than December. Again thanks for creating this +1 for you.

Compared to the last 5 months, December was a good performance, hopefully we will see more increases in January.

Assuming the forum started in 2018 and compared to years without signature campaigns like now, the number of posts did not change significantly in 2024, but I think the quality of posts was better.

This data is from AltcoinsTalks, and everyone has the right to access and use it for the benefit of our forum. I even regret not starting to collect statistics from the very first days I joined AltcoinsTalks in 2017.

I hope that the Admin can use website owner-specific tools to provide us with interesting data on the growth of AltcoinsTalks, such as the increase in the number of members, topics, and posts over the past 7 years. I think it would be really interesting when we have 100K members.

Every day we have over 600 posts, which is really impressive and confirms the dynamism of AltcoinsTalks. I myself have also felt this throughout 2024 as I can always find interesting ideas and opinions when reading topics and comments on our forum.

Every day we have over 600 posts, which is really impressive and confirms the dynamism of AltcoinsTalks. I myself have also felt this throughout 2024 as I can always find interesting ideas and opinions when reading topics and comments on our forum.

Better late than never, I would say the tracking of stats started much sooner here compared to Bitcointalk because where it happened around 2018 only almost after a decade of launch.

600 is not a lot but maintaining it consistently is kind of achievement and from here the numbers are going to increase not the other way round so everyone should try to maximize their knowledge about crypto while also contributing to the growth of forum.

Thank you for your encouragement, we will continue to monitor the development of AltcoinsTalks throughout 2025 with high expectations for a surge in traffic to coincide with the boom of the entire crypto market.

However, I am still mentally prepared for our forum traffic adjustment in the upcoming crypto winter. I do not believe in the supercycle hypothesis so I will take profits in 2025, but I can assure you that if there is no big enough problem, I will still continue to operate on AltcoinsTalks for many years to learn/share/discuss and to provide simple statistical data reports ^^

I will be too, I have been active on Bitcointalk since I registered which is over 6 years and here it's more than a year so the bull or bear season doesn't really affect the active participants who are keen on discussing about development related to crypto and the forum itself but the Bull season is always the best time to bring in new people and also I hope it will bring more advertising opportunities that will encourage users to be active to get a spot (which shouldn't be that way but it's been like that).

I also thought about that comparison, but I don't expect it to give us any valuable insights. The year of the halving is always a pivotal year for the market development in the following year and it usually brings more traffic and activity to our forum. Data in 2025 should be compared with data in 2021 and 2017, but unfortunately, we don't have that data, at least I can't access it.

The admin might be the only one who has the most complete statistical data. Another possibility is that SimilarWeb might also provide a longer history of forum traffic, we need someone with a Premium account on SimilarWeb to try checking this.
