One month is not enough; there is no specific date actually, You can say that you have quit gambling if you stop allocating part of your salary and you have not thought of gambling or have replaced it without some new hobby, Unless you ignore or have not place a time or money in gambling you can say that you have quit gambling, but only months of this practice that you can safely say that you quit for good.

For a regular gambler, it will become so hard for it to stop because it can be addictive. The excitement of winning and the fear of losing can make it hard to walk away. May you have the strength to stop gambling before it messes with your self control because the negative effects are no joke.

installing back the app and gamble again means you have not quit. you're just taking a break.
you know very well that if you quit it means no gambling forever and if you do, it could be just because your friends are with you and its just you and friends having fun.  as for non gambling addict, they could just quit any time. they are just doing it all for the fun in trying to figure out who wins in a sports match.

if i am an addict and would like to quit, i would consider myself to have quit successfully is when i have shit my energy to something else like a business of my own like bakeshop.

it is very hard in terms of quiting,unless your not intimate,gamble is just like drugs,when that addiction is there it becomes very difficult to quit,is just the grace of God,some people will see a therapy to find a change still no change.

Yeah I can say that I already and fully quit gambling, it's been a long time since I did not place any bets especially lottery and combat sports betting against my neighbors. I quit being an agent of an online casino maybe that was a couple of years ago if I am not wrong. I don't have plans to go right back into gambling  because I want to focus on crypto trading and investment.

In reality, you will never feel satisfied even though you win huge money, it's a habit and if we want to stop then we should stop and when it's not possible to do then it's called the addiction stage which needs rehabilitation to complete get it off our system. But I am insisting again, one can stop when they really want to there is no shortcut for that.

He's actually talking about placing bets - are you new to the word "staking" in gambling or you're only used to the word "staking" in crypto. 

Uninstalling, deleting gambling apps and not playing certain X number of days is not quitting, you just layed off for some time, quitting is having all the necessary apps, money and yet not having the urge to gamble. Quitting gambling is more of a willpower.

It will be very difficult for someone who has been gambling to just stop gambling just like that yes in some cases where someone has experienced a huge lost from gambling people can because of the loss and mental breakdown say things irrationally by saying that they have quited from gambling but the fact is that it's just a matter of times that gambler's go back
Leaving gambling is not just by saying it but it's by making conscious efforts and step to make sure that they leave gambling and that will take time not just by saying it

It's complicated cause most people can't differential between "quit and stop"! Stop placing bet/ gambling so time and relapse again isn't quitting at all. When someone quits a habit, they quit for good and do not relapse. Personally, I've stopped betting for several weeks for reasons best known to me, but I'm still completely hooked to gambling and haven't quit.

Some of the steps are: seek support from a friend or therapist.

- Have a change of location or delete your bet account.
