This would be a reminder to us not to borrow money to anyone just to invest in crypto especially to those who really don't have enough experience on it. There's always a risk to any type of investment(not just crypto), and the risk will increase if you don't know what you're doing or if you didn't have a plan. first of all how could he leave the country with no money?

second, did the loan givers get back the funds? if no then didn’t he get sued? i am pretty sure those who gave their money to him can sue him for if there’s a charge against him i do not think he will be able to get out of the country

That's sad, he had done this to himself, I also had this feeling of getting my hands on more funds as whenever market dumped I had no stable currency at that time I planned to borrow funds from friends and family to invest as you said family and friends can understand the situation but those loan givers won't they need their funds back.

So that's why I never took loan from anyone to invest in crypto because let's say when I want to invest in alts BTC was around $92k and I thought this is the best point to invest so if I would have taken the loan to invest that time I wouls surely be at lose now because I would invest in alts and they are very cheap than before.
