altcoinstalks community award?

What do you think if we, like bitcoin talk, also created the community award?
even without prizes it would be interesting for us to start doing something like this too
maybe we'll do just 2-3 categories starting slowly and maybe next year we'll do even better

Good idea, even though the number of active members is less here compared to Bitcointalk still we can start with fewer awards as starters and over the years the number of categories can be increased as necessary. But maintaining it can be a lot of work so someone with experience might be a good choice.

I think it's a good idea, but we don't know whether it will be approved or not, maybe with the award there will be more active players again, and this could make altcoin traffic even denser than before

Absolutely a very good idea and if implemented this 2025 this can be a very refreshing thing to happen here in the forum. We can start small to spark the fire, so to speak. And yes it would also be good if prizes can be given away so we are calling advertisers to sponsor the event. I am then suggesting a category for the Doovla Prize Award.

This could be a nice idea. New badges are insteresting, and there could be some like "Winner of 2024 Community Award"

Then we would have many different badges for each year. They would be like unique badges, which can't be awarded later on

Currently, the AltcoinsTalks forum offers rewards to its community members through the ALTT token. Members are earning points for their posts, and these points will be convertible to ALTT tokens at some point in the future. We've already had a distribution of ALTT tokens to members in March 2024.

If there were additional annual community member voting events organized by reputable bounty managers and sponsored by mixers, I believe it would positively impact the forum growth. I'm quite curious about how the winners would be determined. Perhaps it would be based on criteria such as votes, activity count, number of topics, karma, and supporting software.

That's not entirely true. I've probably spent 400 unpaid hours on this event alone over the last 5 years.

No one can do this without my explicit approval. I'll figure out how to make it happen, and I already have a sponsor for a few non-profit events.

Also, anyone can email me and ask. In fact, I'd be happy to have someone responsible who's willing to spend their time running one of these events.

It's really a good idea. These kinds of events will increase the interest and competation in between the users and that will must have a positive impact on the forum.

And also who were really making contribution for the forum those will have the rewards for that.

And about the prizes I can diffidently say that if anyone just take the initiative then it will be automatically arrange the reward like we can get the sponsorship from the project like Coinomize would be in the first I guess.  Just need to send them offer via managers.
