So for example, if someone has karma 100, then you want to give karma to him... when you intend to give Karma + and press the Karma + button, it will make his karma gain 101, but when you give karma - a few minutes after that giving karma +, you will see the amount of karma from 101 to 99, not 100 anymore.

Hmmn this is a little surprising. Sometimes why surfing or toggling across the forum I have mistakenly hit the negative Karma on some profiles and what I do immediately is I hit the positive Karma button once again the cancel out the negative Karma. The few times it has occurred , the karma always went back to normal on my end.

It is a good idea. If you have prepared a topic with all the main points, we will support it.
I think the most important feature is teaching research. If we can research well, we will most likely find answers to all the questions.

Yes overtime I believe more things and little discoveries will be noticed on the forum and soon a great deal of questions would be answered by this thread.  Compiling FAQs will be a nice move too but I think more issues need to be fixed to make the thread have a ton of info.

When I post anything with URL I see a [nofollow] alarm next to the URL. I don't see it with others.

It's actually a rank related stuff . Basically the forum kind of uses that to warn members and visitors indirectly that that particular user recently got permission to post link so you need to be mindful  of how you click such links. Basically links and images are a little restrictive on most SMF forums including this one.

As you grow in rank that particular tag would stop to appear when you post links or images. Infact in an earlier rank you won't be able to post any links. It's actually to prevent phishing and scamming.

As Mia Chloe (+3) told you, it is due to your rank. In addition to the option to continue the natural growth of your account, you can access Rank Express if you want your account to have the privileges of a higher rank account, such as posting links without the "no follow" tag appearing.

Also, new services often decide to hire one of the marketing managers to announce on their behalf without similar restrictions.

@Freemind, you can probably give more precise info, is it maybe a good idea for new accounts to contact the admin to possibly allow them to open a complete ANN about their service, without restriction?

I suppose it would be possible, but those accounts would have to somehow demonstrate (a simple tweet or email from an official account would be enough) that they are going to launch an ANN of a project. Until now it was done with the rank express to eliminate the limitations, but personally I don't see any problem in having both options. I will talk to the administrator to get his opinion, since he is the one who makes the final decision.
