What influences your investment decisions

How do you come up with your decision and what are your approaches if those decisions fail. You all know as far as investment is concerned it is a two way process it is either you make profit or you loss. So when the candle goes bearish or the project fails what are your next move or moves.

I invested in coins that I found to be good, mostly due to them having strong community (OP, ETH, SUI), now prices are down from where I purchased, but they were bought with money that I could afford to lose, so it's alright.

I do still have faith in quality of coins purchased and I think they'll rise sooner or later.
