Btw, I also had similar thought that gambling is some kind of bad things to do and only bad guys gamble. I think I was scared by relatives with that. And even though first gambling experience was negative, I dont feel like it is bad and I should avoid it. I dont gamble excessively, even can be said that rarely, can control my gambling emotion. But many years ago, I thought that I will never gamble, and it is something that no one should ever do.

Well, I myself never thought I would gamble because gambling is such a thing in my area that even if you don't understand the gambling, you will consider it as a negative thing and treat others negatively. There are some gamblers who are so addicted that other ordinary people are afraid of it after seeing the results of their gambling. Anyway, when I was new to gambling, I did some wrong things but when I understood, I moved away from it. Now I can control myself completely.

I never thought I will ever play gamble. Growing up and seeing poorly dressed men with unkept beards flipping through the pages of newspapers in research to find draws to stake on in a pool shop  made gambling look horrible and criminal.
To Me these men should have a rethink and better their lives instead of waste it on an unproductive venture as gambling. Then I felt they were lazy and unreasonable.

We should not judge these people but rather understand them, and not all gamblers are like them; there are many kinds of gamblers. its just unfortunate that these people fall into a category like what you mentioned.
These people need guidance and understanding. Maybe they used to be responsible people with good jobs; it just they lost track of their life and ended as irresponsible gamblers.

When I was a child, local casinos (it is better to describe them as rooms with slot machines) or slot machines were very popular. I think every third or fourth shop/business (cafe, bar and etc) had those machines. It was hard not to notice them. However they never were an object my interest. Never wanted to play them. In fact often I notice drunk people use them. So from the start gambling had special negative aura or fame in my eyes. It wasnt like I have told myself that I never want to be like them, be in their   company, have any connection with them or gambling, but I often pass those slot machines without any interest. Even when classmates start to gamble online, participated in free poker tournaments (just imagine, you are 16-20 years old, no job and you win $500), gambling never interesting for me. With time, it is still not something that can be considered as my hobby, way to spend time, passion, but it is something that I can do from time to time.

maybe deep down you really have associated alcoholism with gambling which is why it has killed all sense of interest in you it is normal and something that happens in our brain even when we do not notice it and we say that we do not think of gambling as a bad thing

people say that gambling is addicting and it is but it is also true that some people do not particularly get addicted in all kinds of addiction even if they tried i know some people who tried drinking alcohol and smoking but was able to walk away from it quite easily and did not get addicted which is why it is totally possible that it is just not for you

Gambling can actually lead to someone losing money but engaging in gambling is not something that can make one to be useless so you had a very bad idea about gamblers while growing up so you should change your view concerning gambling

Faced with these things I ask myself, wow how do these people do all that? raising the rank in a forum is not easy, it takes a lot of dedication, it is a lot of work, it is putting effort, then why? How come? Don't you have a social life? The truth is I am a person who considers myself lazy and if I were to make one more account, just one no or for nothing, it is something that is not my thing  , really the people who do something like that I admire them, but that is something that at least I would not bother to do, the people who do it have to be willing to put a lot of effort, double or more to be able to raise the Accounts to a high rank, even so it is something that I would not recommend doing.

Yeah it's not easy and I understand how hard it's to even raise just an account and doubling it means having double effects towards the account and is not that possible for someone to build up account on the both forums to even talks about having multiple accounts, this is something that is too difficult which I can't have that time to go run many account, it's better to have a good reputable account than having accounts all over.

they put effort time and money into gambling because they think this is productive and therefore will result in positive results but i think gambling is neither productive or unproductive it is just an entertaining hobby and must not be thought of more than that you put in too much effort and take it seriously you might get frustrated and burnt out

Playing is not bad, really poker is one of the most popular games of all time, in fact things are different now, because most casinos have poker, but not in PVP mode, PVP mode is better for everyone, because that rivalry is created, before a few years ago I did find platforms of that style, and for me they were replaced by slots, slots are now the ones that lead the way among the most popular games, entering a casino when before we didn't do anything is not bad, they are good experiences as long as they are done with a lot of experience.
