ever been tempted to sell all your altcoins for BTC?

because it looks like all the money is jist going to BTC already. i sold some ofnthe tokens i hold for around 2 years for BTC but still have a few of those hyped coins that i tried investing.

decision came when i saw price dips to 99k recently and then when BTC goes up again to 106k the altcoins did nothing still.

dont you think the wait is already too long when its price should alsl go high when BTC also go up. ever tempted to sell them all to make more profit?

if I were to sell my alts currently I would not convert them to BTC, would rather convert them to stables and when BTC reaches $60k or around that in next couple years, buy BTC then with stables.

stablecoin is reasonable by the time bear market is happening and buying at 60k with your stablecoin would be strategic.

that is if the bear market is confirmed. right now even if the price drops to 90K, people will hope the price will bounce further up to more than 106k. and  this is like what Trump gave for crypto users, they are more hopeful than ever that bull run will continue.

buying stabkecoin while BTC just jump to 120k, its an ooportunity loss.

Nah because I have nothing to sell right now I lose all my funds both Bitcoin and Altcoin holdings from trading memecoins so maybe if I had the chance soon but for now, I will make savings first. I wish I can still get on the ride before price goes up so I am not able to miss this bullrun again.

If all the altcoins that one holds are altcoins without promise, selling them off to BTC will be the best decision right now as the price looks bullish. Holding on to those coins may mean missing on the opportunity to jump on to bitcoin while there is a lot of chance to.

We have different strategies with regards on making profit in crypto,if you think you can earn by selling your altcoins holdings and buy btc then go for it,holding good altcoins is not a bad idea but sometimes you also need to change your plan to make profit it needs limitations and plan,if you hold your altcoins for a long term and nothing happens then sell it and buy btc for good.

I've been holding altcoins that are now below my buying price and with this thread, I might sell all of them and buy other coin although it will not be Bitcoin, but rather Ethereum. Unless Bitcoin will go below $100,000, I will not buy any Bitcoin, and I believe that coins like Ethereum have more upside hence more profit than Bitcoin with their current price.

I'm thinking of selling it, but I can't take the losses that I will get once I sell them. Currently, I'm down almost 50% on each of the coins which is quite unfortunate although I'm staking it to at least cover some losses. Nevertheless, if time comes that I need to sell all of my altcoins for Bitcoin or Ethereum, I'll do it.

From the market behavior and reactions towards altcoin one can easily gets tempted to sell to BTC because when you look at Bitcoin the price increasing above other coin, and of course we know that Bitcoin is driving factors on the market and every other tends to follow after it, currently the market is not reflecting anymore because we know that much attention was given to Bitcoin and Donald Trump focuses on Bitcoin during his campaign lots of do use that medium to venture into Bitcoin, in fact Bitcoin gained lot of attention than any other shitcoin out there. So holding altcoin may seems not right for now except those hype coin that always results to pump and dump.

I don't know but it could be the smart decision and it could be late if you are going to sell it right now. I think last year was the best time to sell altcoin->bitcoin specially in the first quarter or before the halving as we have established a new all time high that time.

And for sure, altcoins investors are just shaking their head as it seems that the altcoin bull run is very much delayed and now we are seeing the decoupling of Bitcoin and altcoins have been left behind.

Usually, after Bitcoin goes up and starts to go down a little, it is a good opportunity to buy Altcoin, some of which starts to go up at this point, but of course you have to do your own research and know how to choose good Altcoin with a good project and potential for future growth.

I don't sell my altcoins for Bitcoin, what I do is put money on Bitcoin separately and put some on altcoins that I know will one day go up later in the future. The thing is that you may regret selling your coins one day for another because you never can tell when the pump may come later, it's even after you have convert the coins later do run up.

I have some Mantra coin I have been holding for sometime and I was tempting to sell them but something keep telling me to hold and this year has been so massive about Mantra, there is opportunities on altcoins too but they are just risky.

You can sell your bitcoins if the price of bitcoin crosses your target, but altcoins are more volatile so there is more risk involved. The profit you made by holding Bitcoin for 2 years can be lost in just a few days by investing in Alt.  So if you are not an expert in market analysis then I don't think it would be good for you to sell bitcoins and go alt.

BTC seems going down, decisions i think have been declared by some of us today. we all have different strategy and whether you sell your altcoins or not, i think the advices we read on forums are not having much effect on us since we are all capable of deciding on our own.

as for me, i'm selling most of them. just leave the altcoins that aint contributing to the growth of my portfolio.

I just got tempted with this decision mate, after observing the dominance effect of BTC on these ALTS especially memes, giving them new lows at every price drop.
Even when BTC tends to start an uptrend, the ALTS wouldn't follow up even after volume increases and this is incurring loss on me...
The comparison of ALTS to BTC is now inevitable because a little drop in BTC price beings a dip to these ALTS especially memes, but a price surge doesn't even trigger the move of these ALTS as compared to a price drop.

And right now, this is a great concern for me and I'm beginning to feel I have to restrategize my pattern cause I'm almost been liquidated on my trades currently....

I've already sold meme tokens not for bitcoin but for some OG altcoins. There's just not enough time to play around these temporarily hyped up tokens. I think I'll stick to the top alts until the next halving I guess I'm just confident that these coins won't go away as long as the King BTC is still around.
