Would you like to know what posts gets plus karma and what posts gets negative ?

Yesterday day I was at 201 plus karma today I am at 198.

I have asked about just let us know which posts gets a plus and which get a negative.

Yet to get done.

I AM voting for being able to know what posts gets karma.

I simply don't get to know if I said something stupid or if I am being trolled.

My pick was option 2.

Let's us know when a post is karma marked but don't tell us who did it.

And now I simply don't know why I got at least 3 negs yesterday.

What if you find out that they were good posts? You will only conclude that the Karma system is not perfect at all.

All I think is that you should just forget about it. Your positive Karma will be far more than your negative Karma.
I just do not like about this Karma system that friends can easily send to each other. It can easily be manipulated.

Also I do not like how there is no privacy on this forum.

If I got at least 3 negs yesterday which I did  and all were good posts I was trolled.

If it was on a thread I know people are divided about I don't mind.

I make very negative posts on a few POS coins as I do believe they are terrible coins. So if my negs are for that I really don't care.

If they are on other threads I do suppose it would just be annoying and I guess if an eth supporter wants to troll me because I post against eth he could do it on any post I make so maybe you are correct and that you simply can't tell if you are posting well or if you pissed off someone with a post and they troll you.

Yeah I know how it feels to be trolled via the current karma system without knowing who is actually behind it because trust me I too have experienced it first hand. The fact is many threads have been raised concerning the karma system and adjusting it in the past and the fact is I don't see anything much changing anytime soon.

Trolls will always be trolls with or without the current karma system but the thing is they would not have been too bold to send out negative Karma much if it was visible because they may not want to risk making enemies.

We already talked about this, I think that the admin worked for some time on the implementation of such an option, but that certain problems appeared in the backend because of it. We haven't had an update on the progress of this upgrade in a long time.

If you suspect that there is an abuse of the karma system, you can ask the administrators or moderators to check the karma log. If there was abuse or targeted against you, your karma points will be restored, and the abusers will be penalised.

I read somewhere that karma here is given to a profile and not for particular post, and hence you can't know which posts are given karma. So it's like rep system on Bitcointalk, but there people can add comments why +1 or -1 is given, it would be nice if it's done similarly here, so people are held accountable.

It is on admin's to do list. He even tested this option a couple of months ago, but this update crashed the test version of the forum, so it wasn't implemented in the main version. When there will be a stable version of the update, it is planned. So let's wait.

There might be a faster solution to convert every 1000 or 10000 points to a known inability +/- karma. This will increase PM rate to admin but will reduce it this way.

Yeah, certainly there are far too many abuses, specially because there is no transparency. NObody knows who gave karma to who.

Why do you say that? Can you be more specific? Why is this forum less private than btt for example? both use cloudflare. I know that this forum let third party apps like imgur get your IP directly, which is a little better in BTT... but other than that, what else do you see that harms privacy?

Spot on, but the problem is karma sent to the profile not the posts and that is why the Karma system crashed a while back when admin tried to bring some changes and that is why it needs a complete restructure which may need more time.

But we do have some updates like now we have more users access to karma logs other than admin and they said they keep watching for any kind of abuses.

I have encountered that many times when people were removing karma from me even when my post ls were of quality. One thing I discovered here is that once you have disagreement with someone the next thing is -karma well it is use to regulate the behaviors and characters in the forum.

The log shows the date a user grants or removes Karma from another user, but not the specific post on which this operation is performed, since Karma can be awarded, for example, to a post written months or years ago.

The second paragraph of your post perfectly explains why logs aren't public. It also explains the importance of reporting any abuse to any forum moderator as soon as it's detected. Preventing any type of abuse, no matter how small, will always improve the forum.

I also stand by you in this. It's very important for us to know a particular post that has been given positive karma and negative karma, even if we will not know the person that send it. At least we should know the particular post whether it is positive or negative karma, so that if it is positive, we will improve more, so also if it is negative we will be able to take correction and manage the mistakes, learn from it and adjust. And it will be a great opportunity to everyone.

We're all here to learn, and no one is above mistake, but the most important thing is for you to recognise your mistakes and take corrections.

I know that the essence of negative karma is to rule out someone's mistake, but what is the essence of giving it, if the person will not his mistake and take corrections.

Because I also think this kind of logs also help us to locating the issue of our low quality post and as well also locate the good quality post what we can follow and progress ourself in this program. I hope admin will try again with a successful attempt.

There have been attempts to implement such solutions, but they failed, so I don't think anything like this will happen soon.
The list will not be as important as seeing the posts that got +1.
