When is the actual Altseason everyone is talking about

Many peope preidcting with altcoin season coming when the moment Donald Trump appointing as US president but we got fact altcoin season still not appear yet until right now. Generally not all altcoin not get altcoin season because have any top or potential altcoin have success break out to higher price such as XRP and XLM after dropping most significant almost last two years ago.
But only few coins success reach altcoin season right now and have many other top altcoin still difficult reach higher price and get significant dumping.

One thing people does is that when coins are changing in percentages they usually expect something differential would happened after that again but without knowing that could be the time they were waiting for, like we know altcoin doesn't have specific time and day, just as we experiences several ATH. Do not be surprise that may be the ATH we might see for this bull run but i am not sure or too certain since we can't define or predicted how the market moves.

there are certain news about the few altcoins i use to hold like the VET where they are now just allowing delegates where people having to group together in order to stake.before this, we all can stake through our wallets earning VTHO but now its over.

a few other news on some tokens as well, but no price movement still that could catalyst the volume.

There is so much happening that most traders/investors you see in social media don't know anymore when is the 'true' alt season. It used to be like a BTC pump followed by ETH and then money will flow to the rest. BTC already pumped to six digits but ETH is still stuck which is probably why they are saying it's not alt season yet.

Do not mind those that are still expecting altseason. Last year is for altseason. Some altcoins can still pump but do not expect many of them to pump how they did in 2024. They can not pump the way they pumped in 2024.

A majority of the time I think it's okay for the concept of the altcoin bull to be tied directly or rather indirectly to Bitcoin's pump. This is because bitcoin has so much liquidity and such a high market cap that its price movement influences the general crypto market which includes both bitcoin itself and other altcoins sometimes when the momentum is very strong it can also affect a couple of meme coins indirectly via their their altcoin host network.

Another thing to note is that meme coins basically have their liquidity kind of isolated from the general crypto ecosystem. This is because the crypto space may be in a general dump, while a few meme coins may be in a general pump because of the liquidity put directly into them via their network.

Isn't it simply because people like to trade or supply more liquidity to them? I don't recall seeing meme coins having their unique supply of liquidity, all of them use ETH or other alts to supply the volume. Not to mention most of them don't have their network so they rely on Ethereum or other layers to mint/circulate their tokens.

Anyway, some people said there is no altcoin cycle this season because the liquidity moves to meme coins or other trends. I kinda see that, though I lean more toward people being cautious and stick with BTC because the number of experienced traders increase.

BTC do rally and then you'll see significant alt not moving till BTC starts ranging, since EFT if you observe BTC always range during weekend only to pump on Sunday and then continue to dump market open on Monday. For me I hardly trade altcoin I'll rather stick to BTC

Worst case scenario is that we wont' see a altcoin bull run or bull season. I know it's doesn't sounds right, but as we can see, there's already a decoupling of Bitcoin to altcoins.

It's not like when Bitcoin is on a rally, altcoins follows. Now we have seen Bitcoin going on to reach a new all time high, while the likes of Ethereum and others have been struggling to hit a new all time high.

And that can be the reason why many people/investors are still waiting for that to happen...and then just simply miss what can happening right before their eyes. The thing is that nobody can really predict when altseason will come and go...all we can do is to speculative when that will be but unfortunately it is ultimately the market be the judge for its time.

The market doesn't significantly have effects to the altcoin and yes we knows, if not mistakenly coin like ethereum has never achieve it's previous ATH due to no much impact on the altcoin market to catapult the market to achieve another ATH.
The interest was focused much on Bitcoin and that is his major political strategy he uses to win the election and I don't think if much interest are to focus on other coins, since he has already launched his coin and add much liquidity raising to about $1-8b at time of check.

Over the past few years, I've watched coin like XRP, SOL and other crypto pumped massively making new ATH and still you'll still see people on Twitter and other social media saying altseason is coming, so all the pump that happened is not altseason and after they've missed the oppurnity they get another opportunity and still be saying altseason is on the way

Is there a different altseason from the pump that has been happening or I'm the one who is missing something cause for me XRP had it altseason when it made new high

This is truly what I'm still waiting and hoping for since I've been seeing news that the altcoins season is coming even when these ALTS were reaching new ATH I still held some waiting for this altcoins season and now I'm running losses.
Most times, fake news go round more than something true.

I even held some memecoins even when the market was green for days and new ATH breaks out was happening, I always keep seeing the news of the altcoins season is coming, hold your assets and I was persuaded and I'm still holding waiting for this altcoins season.

The news that this season would commence from the day Donald Trump's administration would start gave me a reason to believe because the market was very positive during his campaign how much more during his administration, so I was keenly hoping that it would happen. But quite unfortunately, during the day of his inauguration, the market was observing red candles and till now, the altcoins season has not yet come.

Maybe it has probably come and gone, but I couldn't notice because of my expectations.

Like I said earlier I really don't think there's a thing like altcoin season this is because the idea of altcoin trend is usually a trend where will entire crypto market is in a bull run and for that to happen bitcoin to has to be in a bull run the thing is Bitcoin cannot be dumping when altcoins are pumping.
The liquidity and relative power in terms of market cap that bitcoin has is enough to drive the entire crypto market in a pump or a dump though it might not hold for long but still it's capable of causing a general trend.

The general market sentiment is that we are still waiting for the altseason to come and those some coins who making good moves can not yet be quantified as parameters for it. when Bitcoin made it to the $100K range, many were then expecting that it would not take look for the altseason to start manifesting its power...but right now we are still in the waiting mode and nobody can say for sure if altseason can happen this quarter or the next. Well, this is one of the many twists and turns of the crypto market and we just have to be patient and continue to HODL. Now, am really wondering if there will be no usual altseason this year...that might devastate many hodlers for sure.

Frankly, I am as surprised as you, we still hear that the altcoin season has not started yet, although I see that we are at the end of this cycle and most likely there are a few months of upside and the downside season begins, so where is the altcoin season?

In my opinion, the situation this cycle may be different from the previous cycles, as each coin has started its own season individually and there has not been a large collective rise as happened in the previous cycles, perhaps this is the most logical explanation.
