Can you be a Reputable Tipster after winning BTC prediction contest?

Because it's not a job, it's for fun and doesn't require a lot of effort from you. Your chance of winning varies depending on the number of participants. If the number is large, winning chance will decrease and vice versa. I haven't won a challenge here before, but I'm happy to participate.

That's a surprise. So the guy still remembers you after months of no contact? I think winning 2 times is not enough to judge whether someone is a professional trader in a price prediction contest though, the sample size is too small. I guess he was just being nice.

Personally, even if I was confident with my prediction I wouldn't jump ship and try to be a tipster. The risk is just too great. One bad call and your reputation can be affected. Especially if you have a contract or a paid service. I'd rather earn small as long as it's consistent instead of risking my reputation.

Yeah, I think what makes a professional trader is not accurate predictions about the BTC price at the end of the month, but timely assessments of market trends, as well as effective risk management and psychology. A trader can be wrong 70% of the time but still make a profit from the 30% correct assessments if they manage their capital well.

The goal of these contests is to create excitement in the crypto market, not to identify professional traders. We can only determine which member was really lucky that month ^^

It doesn't mean the person is an expert in prediction, he just got lucky even if the same person is managed to win the contest multiple times. And if someone is trying to convince others with those win as prediction guru then it's just another scheme to steal the money from the users and I bet no one will fall for that tricks especially from this forum.

No matter how many wins you get from price prediction contest it, you can't say that you are expert. No one can predict the price of Bitcoin in a specific period of time. You can forecast the market and say that there is a chance the price will reach this area but you can't when it will be going to happen. I attempted forecasting the price but did not win; nonetheless, my prediction was correct but at the wrong moment.

For me, I have not won any, and that doesn't make me feel bad, most times it's an estimated guess that gives the winner. The market moves in different directions, even a very good analyst might not give the very accurate prediction. It's a game, I have not won any, but it's fun seeing people who just get to be on the list of winners.

IMO, it doesn't make you to be accurate in all prediction, most times luck is part o the game.

how do you analyze to predict the price by the time its close to the date where they suppose to announce winning entry?

i think looking at the 4 hr chart will be appropriate to predict the price. Its only a week of time to see where the price goes and its often the wrong prediction when you being a holder is hoping for bull run while in reality the price actually will plummet.

We all know that it is not easy to predict the price of bitcoin accurately, just think of it as a game. because I also have difficulty predicting the price of bitcoin accurately. Maybe those who have a lot of experience can predict prices that are close to accurate.

Yes, It is very hard to identify the direction where the bitcoin price can trend since a change can happen any time. As it has been seen above, different techniques of analysis has been made to produce the forecasts but that does not mean that the prediction will always be accurate. It is unquestionable that inside or experience give an added ability to understand markets but we are always faced with remnants that are hard to regulate. Hence, there is a need to strike a balance between the plan and ability to deal with all options that are likely to emerge through the process that has to be followed. The continuing to learn and observe the current market can help us to make better decision making in the future.

Anybody can display a price based on what he/she thinks may happen on the market, and the outcome must be at a fixed time.

Agree with you, any one check current market right now how significant dump? I don't think how hard get analyze when predicting about bitcoin price if not luck your prediction out far away. Learning from bitcoin price today after having bad news make difficult get correct predicting although have you read more chart and make research firstly.
Bitcoin price unpredictable due how bad news coming and we can't predict it before with bitcoin way will going up or down, make prediction for bitcoin contest depend on luck or not and looking for current situation will have good news or bad news for few days later or not?

I have won price prediction contests several times, I think I was rather close once and I think I was super close to prediction price on a specific date, but not hour. I think that just shows that I am lucky, but still not good at predicting, as sometimes my predictions are usage of current price +$500. Nevertheless, I would never wish to be considered as reputable tipster and people trust in my predictions. Not ready for such kind of responsibility.

In the Jacksclub Bitcoin prediction contest, they allow contest joiners to post their prediction 3 days before the final date. I think anyone does have the opportunity to win if you wait for this last day window to post your Bitcoin price prediction.

I'm thinking of joining again and avoid posting my prediction the day where the thread is created. Its good to see what the majority is saying as to the direction of the market. The newbies joining sounds more knowledgeable in price forecast.

There are ton of tools in tradingview, you just have to use which one makes you think its working for you.
