I'm just curious if you have joined those BTC price prediction contest and won some BTC?

I once won with my prediction but that was just once. After a few attempts of joining, I have not won again which I stopped joining because it does look like I'm not  that good as I thought. If you have joined, how many times have you won?

If it is a free pick and you pick the winner you make free money.

Its still a guessing game and I'd still be lucky to get at least $15 for the consolation prize for predicting the 6th closest price prediction.

I did not win even one time, and it does not cost us to join them if you are talking about mixero price prediction contest or maybe some other, as they are free and we can participate easily too I think I participated just two times and did not won as I was not even close to the results.

Well, I am not hopeless because it is just a try and we can win and lose too but we should not be discouraged that we are not good because we can be good at trading but we can't be 100% accurate with our predictions like we can make %30 profit but can't make %100 profit all time same like we can'e be perfect with each prediction we make in any contest.

Nobody can be perfect, keep trying and maybe you will get something again.

Al all, trading altcoins is not easy but once it is well planned there are many ways to earn more from it, either from the high rising prices of the altcoins or waiting for the right time to make a move. sorry to say mate but yeah you are not as good as you think winning once may just be luck and honestly if it is just on some bitcoin price predictions, i do not think winning multiple times will make someone credible to tip others because they might also just have gotten lucky or have copied other people's predictions

I could actually still come back and just post my prediction to see whether I win or not. Its easier to just predict when there is a particular trend on the market. But this time the market is just moving sideways which is harder to predict. If the market goes bear already i think it may also be easy to predict because we already know the price is going down, we only just need to identify which support and resistance line will prevent the market from falling for the mean time.

I think this is the result of fate so Bitcoin forecasts are often considered fate because it is impossible to predict for the future market. Last year I won one but another person won, but the first person who first presented the price was awarded. In that case I finally posted on bitcoin forecast for the last time. I think it's difficult if you want to analyze perfectly. In my experience I just wing it after looking at others' predictions. Unless the prize is so big that spending time to analyze is worth it. If I were one of the first participants I'd look up a graph and use Bollinger band to predict the price. But yeah, most of them come to our luck IMO, which is not a huge problem unless you want to make a living by becoming a tipster like OP mentioned above.

Because it's not a job, it's for fun and doesn't require a lot of effort from you. Your chance of winning varies depending on the number of participants. If the number is large, winning chance will decrease and vice versa. I haven't won a challenge here before, but I'm happy to participate.

I think that predictions in bitcoin are very volatile, because anything can happen, in the end a long-term prediction in btc is usually seen as a lottery, when one trades, yes, one makes predictions under a scheme of analysis and fundamental study if it is appropriate to do so, but I think that this type of analysis is only done for a defined period of time, but making a long-term prediction is difficult, especially now that there are so many fundamentals and events in the world that change everything from one moment to another.

It is very difficult that it is indeed a challenge for everyone about setting the price according to the right time according to the contest.
Not just technical analysis but a combination of fundamental analysis and some emerging NEWS and FUD will change the trend quickly and never even thought of.

Trying to participate in many contests to guess the price of Bitcoin on a certain date but it is always wrong and only a few digits apart, and of course will also be influenced by luck.

At first what I expected from this topic title differed from what you wrote in the body of the message, at first glance at the title of this thread I thought you were going to be talking about tip stars and reputations since you mentioned those words in the title of this thread but then I see you talking about contest-winning and what number of time one have been luck to win those bitcoin predictions contest.

To be sincere with you, I have not won any of them before, although I have taken part in multiple bitcoin price prediction contests, none that I am lucky to have won so I keep trying my luck.

Price is so hard to speculate, it move quickly sometimes and sometimes no movement. Even the old users are not anymore interested in price prediction contest but newbies are the ones winning all the time.

Twice.

1 when icopress organized a Bitcoin prediction contest in memory of light_warrior on the other forum. It was somewhat memorable for me because it's my first time to join a Bitcoin prediction contest and out of nowhere, he sent me a PM just to join in that contest. I wonder if he didn't send me a PM that time.

The other one was I think back in 2024 in Mixero Bitcoin prediction contest that has been launched here by Royse. Like the first one, this one is also memorable for me because my prediction price and the final price is very close. I just missed by around a dollar in my prediction and it could've been the exact same price (disregarding the cents of course ). I mean it's hard to predict the price movement of Bitcoin in the future. Let alone being that close.

Monthly, I just join and join and join. After all, it's free.
